We visited this place today and must say, the food was amazing, we had the Sushi ? and Sashimi platter, excellent and delicious ? deal. I'll definitely come here next time I am in Seattle.

Very excited to have this place in my neighborhood. Sushi on Capitol Hill has become hit and miss. Have been twice, both times extremely happy with the food and service. I hope they stay for years to come!Dietary restrictions: Very friendly and helpful when speaking about dietary restrictions, even though it was busy.

Tried this place for the first time and we had a great experience! The mood was chill but lively. Service was great from when we first stepped in through the end of our meal. All of the food we ordered was delicious. We got the Shishito peppers, California roll, Crispy spicy tuna, and Creamy udon. There were just 2 of us and although it was great, we only managed to eat about half of the food. Good portion sizes! The total came out to $55 and I think that's a great deal considering the service, food, and location. We will be back!

Best place for sushi ever. Price is very affordable, high quality and they have the best service. We regularly come here and we absolutely love it. True Japanese sushi chef and beautiful sushi decoration place to open your appetizer. Go see it for yourself and you won’t regret and will always return like I did. Don’t waste your time reading more comments from here if you love sushi. This is your chance.Vegetarian options: There are a lot to choose from!Parking: Best to walk if you live close by. There are many parkings available!

Sakana is a hidden gem. The quality of the fish is up there with some of the best spots in Seattle, but so much more affordable. The staff was so kind and gave us extra pieces in our platter. Our server was sweet and attentive and made the experience memorable. Don’t leave without trying their green tea tiramisu. It’s one of the best desserts I’ve had in a good while and it happens to be gluten and dairy free. You won’t get the vibey atmosphere here as you will at other Cap Hill restaurants but I will absolutely come back for the great food and service. Thank you to the sweet waitress in the Elmo sweater Dietary restrictions: Good options for gluten and dairy free diners

This was a surprising find! Very reasonable prices for large portions. We ordered too much sushi for 3 people but loved everything, especially the garlic green beans. We made a reservation last minute for dinner and they sat us within 10 minutes of our reservation time, but kept apologizing for the wait. They even gave us complementary matcha tiramisu which was very delicious! We will definitely be back!

The sushi was very good quality and I enjoyed both my futomaki and caterpillar rolls. They also had an interesting edamame "guac" and tortilla chips appetizer they provided for free that was pretty tasty too. I'd definitely come back here for sushi any time. Service was very very good. The server was attentive and thoughtful and she was also friendly and knowledgeable about the large menu. It took us a while to decide because there were so many options! The ambiance was nice enough. Somewhere between classy decor but casual space. I'd definitely go here again for sushi and I'd try the other items too some time.

This was our first time trying Sakana and the menu is quite extensive so we were excited to try a lot of items. We got the Enoki Mushroom Tempura, crispy spicy salmon, yaki udon with sukiyaki, area 206 roll and the fire dragon roll. We enjoyed the area 206 roll and crispy rice, but thought that the salmon was not the freshest quality compared to other sushi spots. The fire dragon roll on the other hand was a miss for us. The rice was mushy and a bit too much sauce in our opinion. The tempura fried enoki mushroom was also a unique appetizer that I would get again. Overall, we would come back to try other items and service was really attentive and friendly!

Extremely fresh and delicious sushi! We ordered Crispy Spicy Salmon, super yummy; Capitol Hill (good but not too impressed); and my favorite Area 206, simply delicious! Ambiance is casual and cozy enough. Service is friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth it! We will be back! If you decide to come, you will be well served! Enjoy!

Some of the best sushi I’ve had! The fresh roll with rice paper and the Kamazaki roll were both out of this world incredible. Will come back one million times over! Pick up is less expensive if you go directly through their website, but dining in was very nice- super friendly service.

Great price-value ratio for the fresh roll with rice paper and mini-chirashi. Service was attentive and excellent, we got free miso soup on the house due to a wait for the food (which wasn't terribly long either)Will definitely be back!
