Went here for a team lunch and had great time. They gave us a free tostada each and the server remembered I don't eat onions and got me one without. He was very attentive. The food was really delicious.

Sal y Limón on Mercer Street in Seattle’s Lower Queen Anne neighborhood delivers a vibrant, family-run atmosphere that’s perfect for pre-game bites near Climate Pledge Arena, with colorful decor and a bustling bar scene that keeps things lively. The menu’s Michoacán-inspired staples like handmade tortillas and street tacos are hearty and flavorful, though the portions can feel uneven—some dishes arrive generous while others skim on sides. Their signature Ultimate Margarita is a solid, citrusy crowd-pleaser with just enough kick, but the overall drink selection leans predictable without much innovation. Service is warm and attentive from the friendly staff, yet waits can stretch during peak hours despite the spacious seating. It’s a dependable spot for casual Mexican fare in a convenient location, but it doesn’t quite elevate beyond the ordinary, landing squarely at three stars.

I was in Queen Ann yesterday, so I decided to stop by and try Sal Y Limon for lunch. Right off the bat, when I walked in, I was impressed with the atmosphere.
As for the food, the complimentary tostada was good. I ordered two items: the street tacos plate (Carne Asada) and a chicken Tamale. The chicken Tamale was very well prepared, delicious, and had a very generous portion of chicken on the inside. The street tacos plate came with three carne asada tacos. Unfortunately, the meat was very undercooked and under- seasoned. I only ate two of the tacos and left the third on the plate. The meat had very little flavor. When the waiter came and asked if I need a box for the third taco, I said no and I mentioned that the meat was undercooked. He simply started making excuses and said this is how they prepare it and walked away.
Based on my experience with the food, I will have to give the place an overall rating of 3 stars.

We celebrated my husband’s birthday in the 20-person banquet room last night and our friends could not stop raving about what a great experience it was. Our server was so attentive and on her game, the food was delicious, everyone was so sweet and accommodating. We would absolutely recommend the banquet room to anyone looking for a group dinner spot!

The al pastor street tacos were flavorful and went beautifully with their habanero hot sauce. The tacos only had one tortilla each and fell apart pretty quickly.

This place was well worth the visit. Staff is very polite and the whole place has a nice vibe to it. Being a vegetarian I was very impressed with how good the vegetarian quesadilla tasted. I'll definitely be coming back.
