I really like the cool flavors and if you want to try a flavor you get a little spoon and a great and cool place to put it!??I wish that they would add some more places to sit.The service here is very good.

Salt & Straw took on venture capital funding and the quality has declined severely. We've been Salt & Straw lovers for 10+ years and it's gone from the best ice cream in maybe the world to disappointing garbage in a matter of months. Save yourself the cash and go get a pint of Ben and Jerry's. The Ben and Jerry's tastes better and costs half as much. It's been a huge heartbreak to watch this change.More specific experiences:- ordering a pint of a seasonal flavor that had no toppings in it (it was just a plain pint of vanilla ice cream despite being labeled for the seasonal)- decline in the quality (taste and texture) of the cookie dough. This pint has been a family favorite for many years and the sudden change in taste made us google what might be going on.

Salt & Straw is an absolute winner!!! I will go back over and over.*Went again tonight. Amazing as usual. Caramel apple sorbet for top scoop and salt caramel ribbon on the bottom in a waffle cone.

Who doesn't like salt and straw? The random concoctions they make up are so fun. The only downsides are the pricing. This location also has zero seating but I've found that to be pretty normal for most of their locations.Dietary restrictions: They have vegan options that are tasty as well

I dare you to walk down Ballard Ave and not be sucked in by the amazing smells of Salt & Straw. It's our go-to after dinner quick stop before walking home. Great flavors and excellent service. It is a chain of sorts, but this location is a Ballard fixture.
