I’m not sure what’s going on here anymore. I do want to say this review is specific to cap hill location. After coming here regularly for years for monthly flavors etc. large lines were expected but it always moved with pace and it was worth the wait to me. Now the wait is looong mostly because of the inefficiency of the staff. Today I waited 40 minutes and considered just leaving several times. At moments I observed there would be four people then suddenly one person serving and taking payment for a line out the door. Some I could see were laughing and playing behind the doors. At one point two came out with one recording the other. They did something with the waffle irons then went disappeared to the back leaving one up front. This is now the 3rd time in the last month I’ve seen this. The ice cream quality has also deteriorated. Maybe it’s just tough finding good people to scoop ice cream? Quality of the ice cream and customer service justified the price to me. Now it’s just overpriced like everything else. I won’t be coming back. It’s Molly Moons for me from now on.

great ice cream place! little pricy at $7 a single scoop but yummy! they have lots of vegan options and lots of different flavors that are unique. Jay was very kind and let us try a bunch of flavors even though there was a lot of flavors. would recommend if you want thick unique ice cream, waffle cone was great too.

Been in Seattle 2 days and came to this place 2 days back to back. Customer service provided by Sawyer was second to none! The ice cream....is a must 10/10, top quality.

The best ice cream I’ve ever had! Very unique flavors, especially the banana pecan and the coffee nut. The staff are friendly, and although prices are a little above average, I will definitely come back again.
I love salt and straw. Even when super busy, the staff is always super nice and I love the spoon slot to stick the tasting spoons down. Their ice cream is super creamy but not too heavy. I loved the Chewy Molasses Cookie with Rum Carmel flavor. Their vegan ice cream is made with coconut milk which I really don't like for ice cream. I do wish they had more options for vegan flavors other than 1-2 made with coconut milk.

My favorite ice cream shop!!! Great place with vegan options - it makes me so happy to see vegan options because I love ice cream but can’t eat dairy due to allergies.
