The setting & views were the only saving grace of our overpriced meal. The calamari appetizer was one of the worst we’ve ever had. Over cooked, dry, and weirdly tasteless.
Beautiful view, but overall the food was just okay. The oysters weren’t as fresh as expected, though not bad. The seafood cocktail lacked flavor, but the seafood mixed grill over cooked and prawns fettuccine were both okay. Service was okay but not quite good enough for the price and setting. Worth visiting for the view, but I was hoping for more overall.
I’ve had this place planned for awhile, so glad I came when it wasn’t as busy, and during the crabby hour with some decent prices!
I got the seafood chowder, super delicious, that was definitely the highlight of the meal. For $6 I was happy. Next, I got the T. Widdy Burger with fries. This was pretty decent, fries were over-seasoned though, so I didn’t enjoy them as much unfortunately. I will definitely come back to Saltys though and try more items. I recommend yall come during the Crabby Hour, cheaper prices!
Great food with stunning views of the Seattle skyline.
Great restaurant for special occasions or just a nice night out! Great views of the City and even better food. Service is outstanding.
Great brunch. Maybe best in WA but after tip was $360 for 3.
It was a really good meal and great view.
One forgets what great service is until they get to experience it again. Salty's delivered. The service (Keen was our server) was outstanding. The food was delicious and that view! And everyone was so nice. We felt welcomed. One of those unforgettable nights in West Seattle.
We had a lovely time. The food was delicious and our waitstaff, Aubrey, was professional an extremely knowledgeable of all the menu items. Bonnie
This was our first time dining at Salty's ! The entire experience was great. For special occasions, they seated us at the tables by the window and even put happy birthday decor on the table. The view was beautiful. Our waitress was amazing. Great customer service, making us feel welcomed and started off with recommendations which I highly appreciate. Two of the restaurant managers (I assume) went to each table to say hi and ensure you were enjoying the experience. For the food - We chose the Alki trio to start with. The calamari was a bit chewy but the shrimp and crab cake was so good! I ordered the New York steak and while its presentation was very nice, I personally felt like it needed more flavor. My husband ordered the sockeye salmon with gochujang sauce which he enjoyed. The complimentary dessert was a white chocolate mousse cake- big portion, delicious and light. Thank you for this experience, we will be back.
I don’t do seafood at all. Most places that have the token beef items the steaks are pretty much just ok. That filet was amazing. Absolutely amazing. Tender, full of flavor, amazing. 10/10.

First visit to Salty's for a friend's birthday dinner and they made it a great one! Accommodated us with a small child, seated with incredible views, and great food & drinks all around! Thank you to the staff and special thanks to TC for a great dinner!
The chocolate fountain broke, which I guess is a small part of the experience but unfortunately the one our guest of honor was most looking forward to. Nothing was offered in compensation for that, and given the price of the brunch buffet, for ANY part of it to not be available is a big deal. A small percentage off the bill or comped drinks would've been nice instead of making us pay full price for a partial experience.
At Salty's the food is average, but the views are great. Just remember you're paying premium prices for the view.
Special Easter Buffet was a whopping 120.00 a person! For that price I had some decent (not wow) food with below average table service. Dirty dishes piled up on the table, and we had to borrow items from nearby tables to get what we needed. I had an excellent omelette and all else was average. Though the place has a nice view and employees are great I was stunned by the price compared to value. I am a lifelong fan of Salty's including having business events and a wedding reception in the family there. I'm done.
We went to Salty's for Easter brunch and it was fantastic! We especially enjoyed the crab, prime rib, oysters and made-to-order omelets. Our service was excellent -- Dean from HI was wonderful and super friendly + attentive. Would definitely recommend their brunch buffet for a special occasion!
