Halibut, Steelhead, King Salmon and clams were all good but not fantastic. Calamari was overdone. Dessert selection was just okay. Waiter had a good sense of humor. It's all what I expected. I chose Salty's to share the view with some out-of-town guests. The view came through. I was surprised to see the 4% surcharge when I got home. Apparently, it was noted on the menu, but I didn't notice it and it was not mentioned by the waiter. Why not just raise your prices...
Saltys is a treat as it's very expensive- my reason for 3 stars is my Cesar salad tasted wierd and while the server took our order and said the kitchen was running slow, our meals took almost an hour and a half to be served. A 6:30 reservation, for our anniversary as stated in the reservation, ended at just before 9pm, as the food took so very long. No apologies nor money taken off our bill. I know it was not our servers fault and my tip was for them, not the food. Luckily,...
Saltys is a graat upscale seafood place for special occassions or a fancy night out with a terrific view. They feature fresh local fish and seafood and have a good series of accompaniements. We've been many times with zero problems and many special moments!
