Samir's Mediterranean Grill is a hidden gem, offering an authentic Mediterranean dining experience. With 47 years of history, the restaurant is run by a welcoming owner who takes pride in serving excellent food in a clean and safe environment. The menu features a variety of Mediterranean selections, including vegetarian and vegan options, and the Gyro sandwich is a standout. The "Chefs Special" is also a must-try, with its unique flavors and presentation. The dolmas, baba ghannoj, hummus, falafel, and salad are excellent, with the dolmas being the best ever tasted. The falafel has a secret ingredient that makes it unique. Garlic fries and the chicken Mediterranean salad are highly recommended. The restaurant's warm atmosphere, amazing service, and clean, hygienic preparation make it a great spot to enjoy a meal that tastes exactly like Lebanese cuisine. Gluten-free options are also available. Reviews highlight the amazing people and the good food, with one customer saying they haven't had a good gryo since moving to Seattle. The vegetarian combination plate and lemonade flavored with rose and mint are loved, and the falafel is described as perfect, fresh and crispy but moist inside. The Shawarma Plate and Lamb Sandwich were way better than expected, with the Shawarma Plate especially hitting the spot with its tahini sauce on the meat, fragrant basmati rice, and fresh side salad. The salad is beautifully fresh with a light, lemon-based dressing. Portions are generous for the price, and the Shawarma Plate comes with pita bread. This place feels like an overlooked gem, maybe because it’s slightly off the main road, but the food is seriously worth checking out.
