The food was very average. TheDolma was so soggy and horrible I had two left and asked him to pack it and the pic is how he packed it was discussingly squished into on ketchup size box. The falafel sandwich had no hummus in it, when asked he said it’s another $11 for hummus. We were so hungry and this was such an unpleasant experience.

Such a hidden Gem. Samir, the owner, was so welcoming and has been running this restaurant for 47 years. He said his restaurant is the 2nd oldest restaurant on the Ave. The restaurant was clean with excellent food and safety restaurants, which is rare to find on the ave. Gyro sandwich was excellent! I will definitely return. I'm so glad I found this place.

I stumbled across this place on a rare, beautiful sunny day in Seattle…. I met this man with the warmest face and asked him what was good… he asked a few guiding questions and then assured me he would make just what I needed… when I tell you I couldn’t put my food down once I took the first bite, I mean it. He said it was the ”Chefs Special” and I can assure you that it was nothing short of specials. It was amazing, ? Please go and enjoy this beautiful spot. The vibes are amazing.

Bought a gyro here and the pita bread is paper thin like a tortilla. Owner is very nice but the worst gyro I've ever had.

I come here ever since I moved to Seattle. It's an iconic location right outside of the link at the UDistric stop. Samir, the owner is among the kindest people I've encountered working in the food industry. He is passionate about bringing people in, is deeper than the food he peepers but he's an amazing example of everyday life and the beauty of it. The restaurant's menu is so welcoming and affordable. Has great variety for people of all types of diets. Personally, my vegan lifestyle forces me to avoid great part of the menu yet his entrees as to die for and my personal favorite is the "Falafel Plate". Truly a must if visiting Seattle

The food here is fabulous! It is very tasty and very good! Great atmosphere and close to UW campus. This is the perfect spot for lunch between classes. The service is excellent and it exudes the hospitality of a family home. This is a family owned restaurant where food is made from scratch. The ingredients are fresh. I want to try everything on the menu, so I will be back for more of Samir's creations!

Samir is so wonderful, the food is amazing! He goes out of his way to make sure Glenn free food is safe, and even hunters me free dessert sometimes. He's been there for almost 50 years for a reason!

Samir's was the highlight of my Seattle trip! So many options to choose from including many vegan-friendly dishes, authentic Lebanese delights and some very delicious garlic fries to boot! I highly recommend the rose lemonade, and definitely get one of the sampler plates for your first trip so you can enjoy all of the flavorful and comforting food. If the amazing food wasn't already enough, I would keep coming back for Samir's wonderful kind presence and excellent service. I can't wait for my next trip to Seattle, I won't ever come back without stopping at Samir's!Vegetarian options: Fantastic authentic vegetarian fare! Hummus, baba ganouj, dolma, absolutely AMAZING fresh falafel, on plates or in sandwiches, and many more! so many delicious options!

Everything is microwaved and clearly not fresh. I could hear the “chef” using the microwave constantly. The food, frankly, was disgusting and I can’t finish it.
