Loud as hell on Thanksgiving and for what? The DJ was spinning limbo and Macarena like it’s a PTA fundraiser. Absolute garbage playlist.
Great food and service. Smells like a urinal. Conflicted between being a bar or nightclub.
This bar service basic burgers. I wasn't a fan of the fries. Athe service was average bar service no thrill no effort. The atmosphere was lame and the conversation at the bar about sexual positioning and other nonsense made it even more dual. There alot of other better places to go in the area.

Sam’s Tavern in Capitol Hill is easily one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood. The bartenders here are always on point. They are friendly, fast, and they really make you feel taken care of. The food never disappoints. Their burgers are some of the best around, the chicken wings are hands down the best wings in town, and their Bloody Marys are not only amazing but also one of the things Sam’s is well known for.
You also can’t beat their $2 Rainer can from 11 am to 6 pm every day. It is rare to find deals like that in Seattle.
If you are looking for a reliable place with great service, amazing food, and a relaxed vibe, Sam’s in Capitol Hill is the place. I highly recommend it.

a classic seattle dive. it’s shockingly difficult to find a good onion ring here but sam’s delivers.

Autograted 20% without any information “because it was game day” but it didn’t say that anywhere, we were only 2 people and only got vodka sodas, the bartender was hoping we wouldn’t read the bill
Local dive bar feel

After being served cold fries and blue cheese at some dump bar. We went here. And the service was unbelievable I don’t know the bartenders name but five stars to that guy.

Food is consistently good and the bacon ranch is delicious. I come here regularly.
Primary downside is that the burger is consistently dry. They dress it up incredibly well, so it's still very good, but something about the way they store the patties / quality of the ground beef is subpar for a $20 burger + fries.

Just came in for dinner and had a great experience. The bartender was Reilly and KiKi was my server. Both were outstanding and super nice. They went above and beyond to make me feel at home and the food was awesome. It’s easily my new spot in Seattle.
Thank you both for being awesome.
I recommend this place to everyone! (And I’m picky) 👍

We dropped by after a long day to check out the atmosphere for upcoming Seahawks games. Much to our amazement, we met the most amazing bartender and slinger of food. If, in the neighborhood, stop ✋️ by and have a pop with Abbey, you won't be disappointed...

The security detail decided to charge $20 to their pocket for entering after 1am. Good to know if that’s official policy.
This place suckssss they don’t even let you in with a real valid id if you look under 30! Bouncer wouldn’t even look at my passport as a second form either. Also super rude to top it off 😍

The best burgers in all of Seattle! I love the vibes and service is great. It does get busy sometimes and whenever I come there's only one person working doing all the serving/bartending. It's never chaotic but can get busy (I mean the burgers are amazing), orders may take some time when it's busy but the bartenders do such a great job!
