My wife and I have been loving this restaurant (and the one on the Ave) for years. We were vastly saddened to hear that they will be closing (but hope for a re-opening). Thank you for the amazing food! -J&J

Comfy ramen restaurant with several choices and plenty of variety. The server was knowledgeable and helpful, and the food was excellent. It's a perfect place to get a meal before the Sounders game!

Menu is solid. Ingredients are always on point, broth always has a deep, savory punch to it. Music selection makes me take my headphones off and enjoy the vibe. Staff clearly cares about what they do. Wish there were somewhere to hang my coat though.
Edit: food is so good I never looked up to see the coat hooks on the wall.

Great service. The guys were willing to seat me even though they were about to start their breaks.
I haven't had an opportunity for much Takoyaki, so that was a fun treat. Also, they have a warm Sake option, so you know they know.
I had the Spicy Shoyu, and it really revitalized me after a long day of traveling.
Not much to say about the shop visually, good or bad, it's a Ramen shop and they have good Ramen! Get on in here!

This bowl of ramen is a warm hug.
The space is cozy with only a few seats and the decor is nostalgic. I had their shoyu ramen, which came out as possibly the most ramen-esque ramen I had ever seen. If someone says “imagine ramen”this is what comes to mind. Just salty enough to bring out the flavor of all the toppings and generous amounts of pork and bamboo shoots come together for an overall highly satisfying bowl to eat. No bite feels lacking.
Deliciously simple, I have not felt so comforted by a meal in a long time. If you need a warm meal after a tough day of work, eat here.

Great ramen. Last time I was there it didn’t seem the cleanest BUT the taste is authentic and very robust. I can look over some grime on the walls for taste like that!

We had excellent Shoyu Tonkotsu Ramen today.
The waiter was very courteous and friendly. We ordered the special bi-weekly offered Japanese Beer (Imported Matcha Green Tea IPA from Kyoto Brewing) and it paired very, very well with our meal. A most excellent meal and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this 5 STAR restaurant. Thanks for a great time. I'll be back.

Just wasn't a great tsukemen.
I'm a fan of tsukemen and this place was highly recommended to me. I ordered the tetsu max and my partner ordered the tonkatsu tsukemen.
Both broths were far too thin for what I normally enjoy in a tsukemen. The broths did taste good but just didn't go well with the noodle. I felt like I was eating a noodle soup with cheap ramen noodles on the side rather than a proper tsukemen.
I would have enjoyed it a lot more with a different ramen noodle that absorbed more liquid, or, a thicker broth.
Although I bet they make amazing ramen judging from the broth I had.
