Dined here for 20+ years with family. Haven’t been in a while. Service is always friendly but now almost a little too casual. Steak salad, which I used to love, showed up with the thinnest strips of meat I’ve ever had on a salad and didn’t taste like steak. No avocados available for nachos or taco bowl. Disappointed.

Lost its quality over the years. One person in our party had slightly undercooked food. The bread plate is five dollars for a couple inches of thin baguette sliced up, a shameful overcharge for what is provided. Took fifteen minutes to get my cocktail-- even though bar was empty the server said the bar was backup and thus the delay. Fried chicken was good as usual, but the other entrees and sides were not memorable. Good memories, but I'll dine elsewhere going forward.

What a fantastic surprise! Could not believe that on UW graduation weekend, this place wasn't packed! We had a chicken sandwich, a burger and the steak mac and cheese... O...M...G!!! We kept sharing and arguing who had the best meal! They have a full bar (but personally, I would recommend their iced tea). Extremely clean, comfortable seats, even cloth napkins! The atmosphere was relaxed and service was attentive but not intrusive. We then treated ourselves to desserts... do yourself a favor and indulge in a slice of key lime pie or the bread pudding - homemade and remarkable!
This place is a gem and should be jam packed! Great food, service and atmosphere! Support this local business. You won't be sorry!

I had the ribeye and it was pretty good cooked medium rare. The staff and patrons are very friendly thus the 4 star rating. Tomato bisque was very good.

Wonderful staff, prompt and friendly service. We got the mussels to start and they were amazing. The blackened salmon salad was wonderful. Salmon was very flavorful, and the salad dressing was great. Dessert was the brownie with Gelato. Very intense chocolate with a smooth Gelato. I can't say enough about this place. It's not too loud to talk, and lingering over conversation is welcome. A new favorite!

I ordered a steak salad and it came out in a small, kid-sized plate. The small, three- piece steak, was rubbery and overcooked. My husband ordered meatloaf and substituted broccoli for green beans for an extra $4. Our bill was well over $100, which included two kids’ meals. The fries were old and the sliders were dry. The service was good.

Servers were nice and food was pretty good, but nothing spectacular. Seems like a friendly neighborhood spot

This restaurant is the definition of “mid.” I think it is catering to the old, white, rich demographic of the neighborhood because there is no flavor whatsoever in the dishes (not even salt and pepper), the cooking technique is often poor (ex. the fries consistently come out hard all the way through, not crispy outside with fluffy inside), and the presentation focuses on creating the image of a large portion.
I have been here a few times since it’s nearby, and as a Latina, find the nachos honestly just gross. It’s not even Texmex, just unseasoned meat with lettuce and chips.
This is not a place for people under 65, and definitely not for good food.
The service is nice enough, but there have been two times recently where our waiter acted strange, like he microdosed just a bit too much before his shift or had his mind heavily preoccupied with something— we had to repeat ourselves several times, ask for missing items several times, etc.
