Horrible food! Would not recommend this place for veg food options.
Ordered Medu Vada, Mushroom Chilli, Veg Kottu parotta, Street style noodles, kids cone dosa
đŤMedu Vada was the worst one out of all. It was very rubbery, felt like being refried or microwaved. Not at all fresh. They served it without sambar at first. We had to ask for sambar.
đŤStreet style noodles were bland and had no flavor.
Very average tasting food. Super hyped place. Would not recommendâźď¸

Authentic South Indian flavors. I liked Mutton Biryani and House Special Chicken Masala. The Bullet Naan is a must try!

â 1 Star â Disappointing Experience
Itâs frustrating when the hype from social media doesnât match reality, especially with service issues and mix-ups in dishes served. Serving an appetizer after the mains and getting a completely different dish without notice is definitely not okay. At least the uttapam was a small win, but it seems the rest didnât live up to expectations.
We ordered:
⢠Appetizers: Rasam, Medu Vada, Gobhi Manchurian
⢠Main Course: Podi Masala Uttapam, Masala Dosa, and Kothu Idiyappam
Service Issues:
⢠The appetizer (Medu Vada) arrived after three main courses, only when we reminded them. Worse, it had a strong chicken smell, as if fried in the same oil as chickenâcompletely unacceptable for a vegetarian dish.
⢠The Kothu Idiyappam arrived 1.5 hours after ordering, and it wasnât even idiyappam. They admitted they ran out of coconut milk but still served what seemed like Bengaluru-style veg pulao, trying to pass it off as idiyappam without informing us.
Food Quality:
⢠The Podi Masala Uttapam was the only standout dish.
⢠Gobhi Manchurian and Rasam was just average.
⢠Medu Vada was a complete letdown due to poor preparation and cross-contamination.
⢠Idiyappam was not even idiyappam.
Overall: 1 star â. Poor service, long wait times, and a lack of transparency completely overshadowed the meal. Instagram reels were misleadingâdefinitely not worth the hype. Again, saving grace was that server/owner accepted the mistake and voided the vada and iddiyappam.

Karan the manager was so nice and professional. Did a great job even during the rush hours on valentine weekend to ensure we were comfortable.
We ordered Tara fish fry, Kara masala dosa, kutthu porotta and chicken vappudu. All were yummy. Not to mention the final touch with Chai.

Horrible experience to put it mildly.
Had a reservation, still made to wait more than an hour and finally had to ditch our plans.
People holding up their pitchers hoping to get some water, others getting frustrated having to wait more than 20-30 minutes between each serving and still not getting half their order, some customers getting up and grabbing their own to-go boxes and finally diners wandering around looking for someone to take their money so they can finally escape this disaster.

Since there is no way to give 0 stars, giving one. I had a reservation at Sangamam for 8.45, and we arrived 10 mins later, we were left waiting for over 1 hour without being seated. The restaurant seemed overbooked, and staff were unorganized, with no clear timeline. It was frustrating to hear the staff repeatedly say it would be just 15-20 minutes, only for the wait time to keep extending even though we had a confirmed reservation. The overall service was poor, and I won't be returning. Terrible experience.
Restaurantji Recommends
We had a reservation at 8:45 PM, but our experience was an absolute disaster. Despite arriving on time, we were told to expect a table by 9:30 PM due to overbooking. The waiting area was chaotic, cramped, and filled with frustrated patrons.
To make matters worse, the staff seemed panicked and disorganized. We asked multiple times about our table, only to be kept waiting until 9:50 PM. At that point, we'd had enough and left. Unfortunately, we weren't the only ones - several other parties also gave up and departed.
The lack of communication, poor time management, and overall disorganization made for a terrible experience. Unless Sangamam seriously revamps their reservation system and staffing, I would strongly advise against dining here.

Disappointing Experience â Poor Service & Food Quality
I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at Sangamam was extremely disappointing from start to finish.
We made a reservation two weeks ago for 7:45 PM and even called earlier in the day to confirm. However, upon arrival, the restaurant had no record of our reservation and had to search for it again. Despite this, we still had to wait over an hour (until 8:45 PM) to be seated.
Once seated, we placed our order, only to wait another 40 minutes for our food to arrive. Unfortunately, the experience didnât improve from there. The Paneer Tikka Masala was completely watered down and lacked flavor, while the rest of the food was mediocre at best. Worse, the courses were served in a completely disorganized manner â main courses arrived before appetizers.
To top it off, we ordered dessert and waited another 20 minutes, only for it never to arrive. Frustrated, we had to cancel it and leave.
Overall, the service was chaotic, the wait times were excessive, and the food quality was poor. We expected much better from a restaurant that takes reservations. Sadly, this was one of the worst dining experiences weâve had, and we wonât be returning.
Not getting a seat after making a reservation one week earlier..terrible experience..did not receive a callback after waiting for 1 hour...thanks for ruining my plans
We had a reservation at 7 PM, and we were 20 minutes late so they told us to do a extra 15 minute wait and ended up getting seated at 8:30 PM. From there, we ordered food and itâs 9:55 and we still havenât got foodâŚ.. we only got two out of four of our dishes so far and still waiting. Masala dosa was oily
Probably one of the worst experiences dining out. Highly mismanaged, food was cold and not tasty at all. We ordered the menu was a which was ice cold, Tava fry (pomfret was old and not cooked), masala dosa which was way too oily.
When we requested them to remove the fish from the bill the waiter ignored us and just handed the bill. Try to avoid if you want to go out and have a nice time.
This has opened in the place of Rasai and the quality has gone down on all fronts. Avoid at all costs - go to Madras dosa in Issaquah instead.
