Wow, pretty much the worst take out service ever. My 12 yr old daughter came in to pick up our pre-paid torder. 15 minutes after the pickup time she was told it would be a minute. Then 10 minutes later she was told they were out of green beans. She called me for help. I came in 30 minutes after my order pickup time. I said I was late to pick up my other child and would take whatever was ready and would like a refund for the rest. I was told, “we don’t do refunds here, we’re busy, do it online.” I took what was handed to me 35 minutes after the stated pickup time- one dish missing, one dish wrong (different ingredients than described and did not agree with us). Regretting adding that generous pre-paid tip :(

Cozy little Thai restaurant with superb food + service + atmosphere! A particularly endearing quirk of Satay Bar is the small collection of books they keep on hand for solo diners or folks waiting on takeout. Will be back!

service was fine, like they felt bad for the food they were about to give us. food was disgusting, mushy, and flavorless. food leaked sauce all over my car, which i would’ve looked past if the food was decent. additionally we couldnt find the source of the sauce!

Super cute and friendly hole in the wall spot for thai food! We got the coconut prawns, pad see sew, and crispy garlic chicken. Also must try the thai iced tea. Host was very personable and food was served hot!

Poor management. I ordered a pick up with an estimated time of 5:10pm on a Sunday. When I came to check around 4:55pm, the staff said it will take an hour. I ask to cancel my order, the staff said they can do that on Friday ( which doesn’t make any sense). Or offer postpone the order to Tuesday (which still doesn’t make any sense). I don’t leave in an area and don’t plan to kill an extra hour there neither to come back on a Tuesday. Before I left, the staff said she will call again to check it I still want the food in an hour. After an hour I got a call saying my food is ready to pickup.That wasn’t what we agreed on before I left. I told her I’ve left the area and ask to cancel my order again. While I was saying that she just cut me and said I can come pick when ever I want and hung up on me.

Hands down one of my favorite places in Seattle! Every time I’m in the city Satay Bar is at the top of my list to go to. Everything is so delicious and the owners + staff are very friendly! Even with a slightly reduced menu you can always ask if they can make something off the menu and they might be able to :) 100000/10 recommended!!
