Cute little grab and go. Great milkshakes, good fish and chips, BLTS, grilled cheese in addition to burgers.
Kid-friendliness: Kid menu items, outside picnic tables. Inside dining a bit small for kids, but great for take out for kids.

Small burger shack with very nice staff and a few parking spaces. I thought the meal was pretty standard in price. Burgers are basic and delicious, I love the sauce they use. Onion rings and tator tots were really good! I thought the portion of food to price ratio was very reasonable.
The vegetarian (mushroom) burger was awesome!! Best I had in recent times. Although the seating arrangement is not great but decent.

Overall service here is awful. Order a burger and shake. Saw that the offered a combo deal with fries, asked if I can swap my order to that. Said I’d had to buy the fries separately, as the order was already placed. I ask to cancel the order and replace it. Staff just blank stared and said they can’t cancel orders and I’d have to come back in 2hrs for the manager to come in. I asked to pay they the difference ($.80) and received another blank stare and a no.
First experience here and it was awful. For a $24 burger, I’d expect a little better service.

Scooter's is a burger shop that's been in Ballard for a long time. They're a couple of blocks off Market so relatively easy to get to. There is a parking lot here which usually has enough spots available. They have a few tables and bar top seating inside with a couple of tables outside as well. Their menu is a good size, recently adding breakfast as well. Their prices are very high for the portion size you get, and the food is OK but nothing too great. The service here is good, they're always really friendly. Overall, not my first choice to go to for burgers in the area and unfortunately since it's so expensive here, I don't think it'll ever make the list of places of "need to go" to.
