Great empanadas, particularly beef and spinach ones. I don’t like alfajores but the chocolate ones were surprisingly good. Friendly service.

We arrived early on a Friday morning, and everything was straight out of the oven and still getting placed on display. Very friendly staff. The four cheese empanada and beef empanada were delicious, with a crispy and flaky exterior and plenty of filling inside. All of the pastries looked amazing, we went with a coconut dulce de leches alfajore and quince bread.

When I walked in, the couple ahead of me was Argentine, speaking with the Argentine owners (I lived in Argentina years ago and recognize the accent). That is a good sign. I liked the empanadas and facturas (pastries), but to be honest I was not blown away. They were good, as good as anything I've had in the U.S. but not quite what you would get in Buenos Aires. However, they had a "double chocolate" alfajor that was the best alfajor I've ever had, BA included. I very strongly recommend this.

Underwhelming, supermarket quality pastries. I guess it's what you'll find in Buenos Aires.

The beef empanadas are delicious and authentic. We also tried the corn ones and were very good. The dough was excellent. Then we had some of the chocolate alfajores and were fantastic.
