Never entered. I'm not paying a cover charge, in the afternoon, to have a drink or two in your establishment. There were 11 of us. Poor thinking on The Seattle Eagle's management.

I was so excited to visited this bar with a few friends to have a cocktail during the early evening.
We were having such great time as the time went be so fast into the late evening. While laughing it up, we were approached by some fella with a Hattah on his head, approached us telling us, if we wanted to remain in the bar, we would have to pay a $ 10.00 fee, due to an event soon to transpire, other wise if we didn't pay now to stay in the Bar, we'd have to pay an additional $5.00 .

We were taken by this because ,we had never heard of such a business, that made their customers have to make a decision to pay for an event that we were never aware of and to be told, if we didn't pay, we would have to leave....
Shocked by this because we had no clue nor did we see and posted signs indicating, otherwise we all would have taken ourselves (money) elsewhere.

We all refused to pay and decided to take our pary(business) to another bar who would honor our presence and not have us to pay in the bar, simple because there was going to be an unexpected/ unannounced event, that none of use were INTERESTED in.

What business makes customers have to pay to stay, simple because their were no indication or was informed that If we(you) wanted to stay, you must pay!

Who does this? I we will never return! What a way to ruin a great moment with friends or even if you were solo..

Very poor and unprofessional!
I hope Mgt will address this unexcceptable matter...
If there was an option to check a star below the lowest, I would !

Overpriced cocktails for a mediocre bar.

It's an Eagle! What more is there to say? Dark corners, bears, and leather. Yes, please.

$9 is what this bad review cost. Crazy enough that was the cost of a small plastic cup of beer supposedly in line with Seattle prices. I was enjoying myself until the new bar tender took over, raise the price of the beers and while I get they probably deal with a lot of stuff, his attitude changed the entire night and my perspective of this bar. Go for the bears, not the beer.

Witnessed unprovoked, violent, unsafe and absolutely abhorrent behavior by staff last weekend as everyone was leaving. Never coming back. Will be letting friends know that this is NOT a safe space. I should have read the other reviews about this place, but I wanted to trust in a long time gay bar that I had been to many times in the past. You can't treat people like that!! I was just a witness and don't know who your staff member was bullying, hurting, and filming ILLEGALLY, but if that person reaches out to me, I'm happy to be a legal witness in court. WILD.

The Seattle Eagle is the black sheep of Seattle’s LGBT nightlife, offering a space that’s unapologetically raw, real, and welcoming to those who embrace their unconventional and freaky side. This place has a gritty, no-frills vibe that feels authentic, like stepping into a world where you can shed the day-to-day and just be unapologetically yourself.

The music at The Eagle is pretty diverse depending on who is DJing (or bartending) can be hit or miss. The drinks are strong, the bartenders are cool, and the energy is fun, especially when the place starts to fill up.

What really sets the Seattle Eagle apart is the sense of community. It’s a place where everyone is welcome, whether you’re a regular or just curious, and the crowd is always down for a good time. There’s a sense of freedom here, a feeling that you can let your guard down and explore whatever side of yourself you want to, without judgment.

If you’re looking for a place that’s a little rough around the edges, full of character, and a uninhibited fun, the Seattle Eagle is for you.

I hate leaving bad reviews but this place is awful. The first thing that hits you as you walk in is the smell!! It was a fetid, noxious mix of stale cigarette smoke, fresh cigarette smoke and weed. It looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months and the general vibe is "dodgy". Avoid it.

Painful to write anything but positive things about a gay establishment. But seriously The Eagle Seattle is 1) absolutely the worst Eagle I’m aware of and one of the worst gay bars out there 2) drinks are ridiculously overpriced in an already inflated economy (recommended to the owners - focus on selling more by having more patrons instead of ripping people off) 3) I’ve prob been 10 times, had fun ONCE during a party in like 2018. The problem is that nobody comes here, but I can kind of understand why.. went to furball in 2023 and I think it was maybe a couple dozen people that also came - that’s a really poor turnout for a Saturday party.Truly could be an awesome bar. Whoever is managing it must be stuck in their ways and refusing feedback that is all over these google reviews. Get with the times!
