Best fish-n-chips in Seattle! It’s August 2025 and I hold true to this review I posted years back. Take your date and take your family!!!

We came in for lunch and got a 2 piece cod and salmon fish and chips and for about 16/basket you get 2 decently sized pieces of fish. It had panko breading and was not overly heavy and was overall tasty. I also ordered a cup of smoked salmon chowder and it was just okay - a bit too fishy tasting and I personally wasn't fond of the tomato base for the soup.

The reason I had to knock stars down was because I saw a huge fly on a piece of salmon fillet in the case.

We definitely love this place. The fish and chips are delicious and crunchy and not oily. I really recommend mixing it up. We got COD halibut and popcorn shrimp though I do think they could’ve put a little extra popcorn shrimp otherwise it was delicious. The clam chowder has been one of the best I’ve had and the Poboy sandwich was absolutely delicious and not too big so it was a perfect size.

I was in the neighborhood for an appointment down the street. I was only going to get something small but decided on the chowder and crab cakes with salad! I will be coming back to eat in instead of takeout!

My husband ordered a salmon sandwich, pointing to the lower left of menu with salad, no fries, cup of chowder, I saw price of sandwich at 14.99, not being dinner time, ordered the same. Sat down at a table, not horrible but could’ve used a thorough cleaning. Owner, agitatedly came over to me and said my hubs wanted fried salmon not grilled. I didn’t know what or why, but said grilled. Long story short, he had him cancel bill and redo with the cheaper sandwich which was approx $30 cheaper. Owner did not know how to cancel first transaction, would do it later at night. Lunch finally came, as he gave me my meal, there was a hair intertwined in thick tomato slices. I started pulling it out as he watched. After saying yuk, he said it looked like my hair and walked away, completely unfazed. I was aghast, yet my husband had started eating and I just made the best of it.
My husband attempted to let owner know and his wife. They were Completely indifferent! I would not recommend /not ever return. The fish and chowder were over seasoned, very peppery and spicy, what one does to doctor bland things.
BAD service ! BAD food! HIGH prices! They DON’t Care!!

You skirt the issue, We pointed to the cheaper sandwich. You charged for the more expensive. The dark haired man at desk could have pointed out the difference. Only after we heard the price did we change the order. And please ask the blonde haired young man who brought us our food. I did tell him there was a long hair in the food. He shrugged it off. If upon reading the review , you owned it? I’d understand. Mistakes happen. Good owners take care of their bloopers, not brush them off on customers. Whether you’re all in denial or bullying customers is your shtick, we won’t be back or recommend. We will sleep well knowing we speak the truth.

Service is good but the food was not. The salmon chowder tasted sour in a weird way. The fish tacos were very bland.

Not impressed by the chowder and fish tacos

Called to see what fresh fish they had and was told by owner to come on down and get two filets for the price of one. After we selected two 1 pound fillets he charged us for two and said he was just kidding. Been here before and was good, but something is seriously wrong with this guy…we were extremely disappointed. Never going back to this place ever after being treated like this.

The dining area is separate so you could enjoy foods right here. You could also purchase some raw seafood home. The chowder is saltier than my preference but it tastes good. All seafoods tastes fresh. Highly recommend!

Excellent food! The Shrimp Cocktail course I wish had better presentation, but the shrimp were big and delicious as was the coctail sauce, so I'm being nit-picky to wish it was served in a Cocktail glass. We had a blast and will definitely be back.
