3rd edit sep 2025: fish guys is probably the restaurant I visit the most in the area. They’ve been consistently good over the years!
2nd Edit: they never fail to amaze me!! Tried their miso tuna and PNW salmon, both are amazing! Their portion size is more than enough, I end up being super full every time. Favorite poke place in town hands down!
Excellent poke experience. Workers are very friendly and they have a wild and fresh selection of seafood and Asian goods. I’ve been visiting this place regularly and it never fails to amaze me. 10/10 recommend!
This by this house or. Buildings i seen bro girl lol ..u stalking me again ha. Ha ..sam witch huh ...no meat...all bread
Fabulous food and fish selection!
The fish is so good. But the rice knocks it down 2 stars, unfortunately
It’s such a shame because the poke is SO GOOD. The pieces of fish are huge, fresh, and so flavorful. Smoked salmon mac salad is also so delicious.
But omg the rice bro the rice😷 dry, flaky, pasty… it ruined my bites so I ended up making my own at home. Went w someone that’s been before and they say the rice is always kind of mid but today (yesterday when we ordered), is particularly bad.
It’s seriously such a bummer man I also wish they’d offer sushi rice instead of just white and brown rice
Lives up to the hype!! So so so good. Definitely pricey, but you do get quality and lots of food for the price. I think it still doesn't live up to poke in Hawaii, but it's as close as you can get here.
I tried spicy salmon which was my least favorite fish, wouldn't recommend that one, the sweet shoyu Salmon which was soo yummy, and the creamy spicy tuna which was my favorite of the three.
For sides I got seaweed salad which was the same as any other seaweed salad and a krab mac salad which was fine but outshined by the fish.
The absolute star of the show is the clam chowder! Best clam chowder in Seattle hands down. The flavor was very unique and the pieces of clam in it were really tasty.
On the pricy side for poke, but good quality no doubt. The spicy salmon poke lacks spice however as I found it to be very, very mild. The Ahi was good though.
This store is a little further out of the city, but it’s definitely worth checking out.
I got two proteins (scallop & spicy salmon), that’s about $25 but the portion is pretty big. The scallop is really creamy, and the spicy salmon has a subtle Spiciness. On the side, I got the smoked salmon mac & cheese, that one is also very creamy and taste good.
Amazing and so much food!
Amazing food!
one of the best poke places ever! liked the spicy salmon more than the shoyu, and def will be back to try the spicy ahi + scallop

Fresh local seafood. Limited menu
Delicious oysters etc.
I read the negative reviews about the poke being bland and decided to give it the benefit of the doubt. Turns out, they weren't exaggerating. I didn't even know it was possible for poke to be this bland, much less spicy salmon. Even plain unseasoned salmon had more flavor. Not only that, but my bowl wasn't cheap either - it was around 30 bucks for 3 toppings. I was craving poke at the time and needless to say, this place did not hit the spot.
The place was also swarming with flies, both indoors in the dining area and outdoors. That's definitely some sort of health code violation.
The unagi was incredible, the squid salad was top notch, and they have the best smoked salmon I've ever had.
Fresh!!
finally got to try the acclaimed poke from this place! the uni (and uni deals) were an absolute steal and tasted super fresh. the poke was also pretty good overall. the tuna avocado and sweet shoyu salmon were super flavorful, but unfortunately i found the spicy salmon to be lacking in flavor, especially compared to the other two (and hence the four stars). maybe i came on an off day. would still come back to try other stuff though!
