Closed already? I just passed by and noticed that all of the tables, chairs, decor, and menus are all gone.

Seattle Social Bar & Café is a great restaurant to go to for brunch. When I arrived, I was quickly welcome and seated. The staff was nice and friendly. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros and it was delicious and highly recommend it. My overall experience was great and I will be going back soon.

I cannot speak to the quality of other things on the menu but I’ve ordered the breakfast burrito by delivery twice now.To start, they call this burrito a “loaded” burrito. This should mean more than just eggs, meat of choice, and some cheese. To make it worse on delivery apps it has a picture of a great burrito with pico/potatoes/crunch and is delivered instead soggy and mushy. The burrito has no texture, eggs are way too creamy, cheese is runny and watery, then they use some spicy Mayo like sauce on the inside so the entire thing is just a runny soggy mess that tastes awful. The tortilla has no crisp which isn’t a dealbreaker but considering how soft the rest of it is it’s completely unappetizing.Anyways, can’t speak to the rest of the menu but strongly advise against the burrito here. And maybe they should update the picture on the delivery apps to actually reflect the burrito they deliver.

It’s a lovely local spot with great service and a decent burger thought this could be improved a bit. I will certainly try more things on the menu but the French onion soup was quite sad (no color from char on the cheese, meh soup base). Maybe they could reduce the menu size and improve the dishes? They seem to be working hard so I’ll be back.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible.

$6.99 for an 8oz Americano?! I would've expected some gold flakes with that price but nope, nothing special! Note to self, don't go here for the coffee.

Great service, awful food. The food reminds me of something you’d get in a prison cafetería… at least in prison you’d get a salt packet to flavor the food. Only saving grace of this is the

I want to start off this review by saying the staff is not the problem. I have been here a total of 3 times and the staff is always nice and honestly I always treat every service worker with respect and tip they are just lovely. That's the reason for the 1 star is because the staff is the only thing I appreciate here. Now the food......... idk where to begin everyone raving about the food must not have tastebuds because it was by far the most bland and tired meals I have ever had IN MY LIFE. So whoever owns this joint great job on the atmosphere, decor, wait staff, the water, but please please please have a taste of the menu items and Make changes I beg you. I had the chilli burger (tasted like metal and was not even warm the patty was extremely dry and of course bland) I've had the dungeoness eggs Benedict (mushy and also bland) and I have had some form of Spanish breakfast meal with eggs and tortillas, that meal was decent but it wasn't anything to remember as I clearly can't recall what I was eating. I think maybe if I tried some of the items people have listed I would like it because I really want to enjoy this place. To the owner and operator please reconsider your recipes, ask your staff for their opinion or input just do something of you will ruin your business. Again this review is based solely on the food and whoever came up with those god awful recipes. To the staff I appreciate you and this is not directed at anyone but the owner.

I'll start with the good. This place has a lot of incredible interiors with really nice seating, I feel like if we went during the day when the sun was out it would have been a lot more inviting and nice. However, everything else we experienced here was nothing short of mediocre and disappointing. We walked in to a very empty dining area, and waited 2 minutes before the server at the bar told us to sit anywhere. A seat yourself placard would have been great. Our server was very enthusiastic, gave a lot of recommendations, and seemed to love what he does. He failed to mention that adding onion rings to my order would be $4 (yep) extra. I got that surprise at the very end. He was the least of the problems we experienced, even a highlight at times, but I felt like the service could have been better. The food was mid. I got the Western Burger w onion rings on the side. The burger wasn't bad, but I've had burgers across the street that Guy Fieri would rave about for less than $17. The onion rings felt inauthentic. Everything didn't taste fresh to me. Granted, I went during offpeak time. This place feels like more of a brunch and lunch spot, and a lot of the top reviews seem to come from brunch. But if you can't be at the top of your game all the time, it's not the best look.

Great food. Thick burger, fresh toppings, crunchy on the outside while soft on the inside sweet potato fries. Perfectly cooked. Thanks! I'll be back!

Rarely give a place one star but wow they deserve it, after being here a few times I can solidly say to avoid this place. The space is nice but I think that's just because it's new. Typical Seattle casual vibes. The service really does not seem to like this place or the customers. It takes forever to get someone's attention and when you do they will act like you're an inconvenience. Even for ordering more drinks/food--it's like you don't matter or like they don't want you there. And then there's the food. Incredibly mid for what you're getting. Soggy pasta in a generic cheese sauce on the mac and cheese, charcuterie portions are SO SMALL and the fish and chips are ALSO soggy. The best things are the pastries which are also expensive. Bad service, expensive and bad food, and costs way too much. There are much better breweries, American comfort food, and pastry places in Seattle. Don't waste your time here.

I am really disappointed to see so many negative reviews. I'm glad I didn't read any of the reviews until I sat down. Yes, the place was pretty empty for a Saturday at 10:30 am. However, the wait staff were friendly and attentive. The food was great. We got the chicken and waffles and the chicken fried steak with gravy. The chicken and waffle was juicy and had the right amount of spice in the syrup. The chicken fried steak with gravy was, however, the star of the show! They know how to make some gravy. Being from Kentucky I would know. Haha. We will be back!
