First time to visiting this place. Initially we had reservations for 18:30, despite the fact we arrived early, they sat us almost immediately. Our waitress was well informed and answered all our questions. The overall service was attentive, responsive and in great form. The food was outstanding could not have been better!! Parking was a challenge to the ongoing construction by the great city of Seattle (sarcasm of course!). I highly recommend this place!!!!
I had a wonderful dinner with my party of four. Our server was very attentive and the food was great! Well seasoned and balanced food. Even with it being a busy night we were seated quickly after checking in and as we waited in between appetizers, main courses and dessert we were checked on often.
Hadn't been here in years and it was fun to come back for my husband's birthday with some friends. Our server was very attentive and mindful of a small time constraint we had. The ambience is charming. The food and drinks were delicious!
My first visit, I was 30, on a night out in town with my new fiance, the concierge at our hotel recommended Serafina. Truly, a night to remember. We danced between tables to a talented lady singing in the corner. Serafina became OUR place over the next few years, whether it was dinner or drinks. My review from that night was printed by Serafina and posted on the wall. I have returned, I'm 51, taking the love of my life out on the town for a New Year's Eve celebration in. Seattle. I decided to take her to Serafina for an early 5 course dinner...first ones in the door! To shorten this up, in the end we were heartbroken and disappointed. The atmosphere was dry and the food was ok, but the portions were minimal. So small that Lisa was giving some of her food to me. The risotto was fishy, thank God Lisa didn't want hers because I needed it at twice her size.
In the end, $419 without an additional tip.....ADDITIONAL TIP?!
We got to the hotel to get into casual clothes and walked straight to Dick's for a cheeseburger and fries. This time Lisa wanted to eat, poor thing. I will return for regular menu food, with Lisa, but right now I'm unhappy with New Years Eve

We had the New Year’s Eve dinner experience at Serafina and it was wonderful. We did an early seating as we had three generations with us—two teenagers two adults and grandparents. It was a prefix menu, which was lovely. One note I would have is to have a few more vegetarian options. We had one vegetarian person with us, and there was only one option for each, but all in all, it was a great experience. The saffron broth with the seafood was incredible! (I think it’s a menu staple with a fish.) The wine pairing with the New Year’s Eve dinner was also excellent.
Our only complaint was that it was quite cold in the restaurant, probably because they were waiting for more people to come to warm up, but we felt a little chilly (possibly a one-off).
We highly recommend this neighborhood restaurant!

just too bad
has been our good-to place for anniversary dinner
Usually pretty tasty food
last night was awful
they changed out the focaccia for some sourdough with rye thing that has NO salt 'fluffy but TASTELESS
ravanello salad served as gigantic pieces of salad greens
i hate that
i mean come on man, cut it up a bit before you serve it
plates are so small you struggle to keep salad on plate as you carve it up
the arancini has changed to some other thing that's tasty but horribly expensive
you now have the pleasure of getting 3 pieces rather than the original 4 for a lot more bucks
the melanzane was different as well
not as tender
pieces thicker
sauce tasted like not very cooked canned tomatoes
whole meal tasted and looked like it had been sitting around some
consistency is the life blood of a restaurant
this place no longer has that
my wallet got fleeced so i'll take my hard earned money elsewhere
i'm done with this place

Everything was excellent. Our server was top notch, the food was fantastic and the vibe was perfect. Thanks!
Please, please, I’m begging you to SALT your food!!!! The duck cavatelli was incredibly bland. Is the pasta water even salted? The ricotta blobs that came with it were gritty and tasteless. Who wants to return when the food tastes like nothing?
Service was great though.

Parking was impossible. I circled for 30 minutes looking for a space. All residential parking on both sides of the street. A restaurant of this caliber (and prices) should have valet parking.
From the excellent food to the exceptional service, our family had a fantastic dining experience. We were celebrating a special occasion, and the staff made us feel truly valued and celebrated.

Took over an hour for our dinner to be served. Risotto was congealed. My daughter's pasta was cold. Our server didn't keep us informed about significant delay. This used to be the most wonderful place. We are sad.
Everything was amazing, totally worth it and definitely would love to come back

The dining experience was disappointing and has declined over the last years. It’s been a decade since my last visit. The service was slow. The waitress waited an hour to ask if she should get our main dishes started. We were very surprised and starting to wonder what happened to our dinner. The food felt inauthentic for Italian with way too much cheese. The portion sizes are very large.
