Excellent place to stop for lunch after hiking at Discovery Park. We had the Serendipity Salad, the salad + soup combo, a vegetarian burrito, and a gluten free tuna melt. Everything was delicious. We especially liked how everything was well seasoned, even the tuna melt had some paprika and other spices on it.

Located in an affluent satellite suburb northwest of downtown Seattle, Serendipity Cafe, advertised as a family friendly restaurant seemed more like a bar with poor lighting. Maybe there are two separate sections and I missed the main dining area, because I was seated in a booth by the bar. It was mid afternoon when most restaurants can be slow but the place was empty. Decided to stop in anyway for a burger, fries & salad. Bartender was friendly; service was fine; food was good but definitely overpriced at $33 including tax/tip. Limited street parking; cute neighborhood; walkable; families hanging out but also some homeless transients roaming around the corner. Overall OK but would not recommend & would seek better value elsewhere.

The guy working the register/ barista was low key rude and not helpful I saw him roll his eyes twice at me, the matcha was subpar absolutely no matcha taste just tasted like sweetened milk with a hint of matcha. The bathrooms were gross too. I wouldn’t come here at all. Glad I got my refund at least.

Stopped in for a quick early lunch. They were serving their lunch menu at 11:30 which was great! Enjoyed a French dip with fries. Some of the best fries I’ve ever had. Service was great I was alone and sat at the bar. Great atmosphere. I’ll be back.

I rarely order a hamburger, but if you're going to order it from here.
The only reason why I gave 4 stars on the atmosphere is incredibly loud. Okay, acoustics and the bathrooms do not go in there.

It's a nice neighborhood eatery. The food is generally good, the people are very friendly. The biggest problem is noise control. The space is open with lots of windows and hard benches - which is esthetically lovely, but makes for a crescendo of noise with only a few patrons and impossible to ensure when moderately busy. Adding some sound attenuation would go a long way to making this space a great place to stay a while and order more drinks and food.

Usually not busy at my lunch break. Has a great French dip. The shoestring fries are yummy but difficult to pick up. Used my fork.

My wife and I both had the BLT and fries, I ordered mine with avocado, and they were both delicious. The young girl at the counter had the most amazing customer service. Highly recommend!

The service was fast. Our waitress was polite and knowledgeable. She could recommend a beverage for me (I prefer decaf options). Food was soooo delicious! And portions were huge. We took breakfast burrito and eggs benedict with salmon. And we were highly satisfied with our choice!
