Wonderful little restaurant and bar at the Junction in West Seattle. Every day from 3-6 pm is the happy hour so we shared a delicious grilled cheese on sourdough, a tomatoe bisque soup and clam chowder. Nice cozy place and great service.

Shadowland has become one of my fave west Seattle spots! The food is always great, big selection of craft cocktails and the staff are pros. I honestly think this is the best French dip I’ve ever had, that’s crazy to say but I think I mean it. Excited to bring more people here.

Have never had a good experience here. Most recently I was charged $22 for a mid non-fancy cocktail, which was a nasty surprise. I really didn't expect a $50 bill for one drink and an entree, especially when I explicitly asked for well liquor.
The staff are always friendly, service is decent, the food tastes okay. Even the exorbitant prices aren't (usually) too far beyond what might be expected of Seattle food these days.
As a whole, though, I have never left Shadowland feeling like it was worth my time or money. I've just never felt good being here. The vibes are bad. I don't know how else to explain it.
Every time I think maybe I should give it another shot, I'm newly disappointed. Will do my best to avoid coming back.

Funky neighborhood bar with very tasty dining options. The poutine was fantastic The philly was just so so. Service wasn't inattentive, but it certainly wouldn't give you any warm fuzzies either....a bit perfunctory and brusque but I think that's their vibe.
