Sadly, the Chicken was super dry and the veggies (lettuce and tomatoes) in the falafel wrap were wet and tasteless. The hummus was ok and the falafel was really good. The pickled vegetables were also great.

I was hoping to like this place because of all the good reviews but honestly it was the worst gyro plate I've ever had. I threw almost half of it away. From the bland rice, to the odd flavor of the gyro meat and very runny and odd tasting Zatziki. And if oh that wasn't enough, The pita bread was so dry you could almost crumble it and would crack when you bent it. Seriously horrible experience. I will never go back. I should have left when I first walked in because the place smelled like stale urine I'm not even joking.

I ordered the Greek salad and the falafel sandwich from this place using GrubHub. The salad was really good, the sandwich was more bland and dry, it could have been better.

Food is amazing. Best Shawarma around. But they always leave the door open when it is really cold outside, which is not ideal when you are trying to enjoy a warm meal.

Great place, welcoming and friendly service.

They gave me cold fries that had been sitting on the counter. I paid $10 including tips for the greek fries and it was cold and just too much sauce. I would recommend going to the other gyro places on the avenue.

Painfully dry shawarma. Good shawarma is hard to come by in this part of the country. Which probably explains the strangely high rating. But this simply isn't good. Chicken is dry. Lamb is dry. Fries are soggy. It's a poor experience all around.

For late night food it tastes pretty good.My meal was delivered late at night so it tasted much colder than I would’ve liked and the shawarma fell apart halfway while eating. It would’ve benefited from hot sauce.

So very delicious--gyro and hummus. Atmospheric comfort. Generosity of spirit.

I’ve been going here for 10 years and it’s been good every time I go. I love shawarma king. Their shawarmas are my go to choice. Their baklava is very good too.

Literally the best Shawarma plate in the whole U-district. I had tried all middle east food on this area. This one is the best!
