Everyone that works here is so rude - especially security. They let their friends do/say whatever they want to paying patrons. Willy never come back here

shingle town is one of the best bars i have ever been to. not only do they have amazing prices for all of their drinks, but it’s one of the few places that i feel safe at staying until 2 am. security and the owner are always super attentive to the people in here and make sure it’s a safe place for everyone. which is very important for me as a female. i could come here alone and still feel extremely safe.

it’s always a fun crowd, fun music, great drinks and good vibes. the staff, bouncers and the owner are all absolutely amazing people. amazing place!!

Shingletown is hands-down one of the most welcoming and comfortable bars I’ve been to. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel right at home with their friendly, down-to-earth attitude. The country-themed atmosphere is warm and inviting, and it’s the kind of place where you can let loose and have fun without any worries.

One thing that really stands out is how safe and respected I feel as a woman here. The bartenders and staff are always attentive, making sure everyone is having a good time while also looking out for their guests. Whether you’re out with friends or even stopping by solo, there’s a strong sense of security, which is so important. The owner and all the staff know all the regulars by name and make us feel very welcomed and safe.

The crowd is fun and welcoming, the music is great, and they even have events like karaoke and line dancing that add to the charm. Plus, the drinks are fantastic, and the food, especially the chicken, is the perfect addition to a night out. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home, with good vibes and even better people, Shingletown is the place!

This place is so much fun!!! I come for karaoke on Sundays/Wednesdays and the vibe is great. It’s a country bar, but everyone sings songs from every genre. Even the DJ’s on the weekends are mixing it up. The owner has gotten to know the regulars by name which is really cool since it creates a more welcoming atmosphere. Also appreciate that they’ll address anyone who is out to make people uncomfortable—this is a safe bar to frequent and I love coming around. Highly recommend!

This place is dangerous. Especially for females. The bouncers are bullies. Please stay away from this place.

STAY FAR AWAY. Not a safe place for women - but Kings is, which is close to Tractor, woman and local owned, better prices, and a true representation of Old Ballard - caring, connected, community of people that work hard, look out for each other and respect the safety of women. The staff at Kings would never allow three grown men touch you and try to physically remove you from the establishment for asking questions about the questionable way your drink was handled.

Exactly what you'd expect.

The bouncer physically pushed me because I took a water cup outside of the bar. He accused me of sneaking alcohol, but in reality I was holding a water cup. Solid bar but the bouncer was physically touching me now following me out.

Good drinks, good times and great staff.

They serve all drinks in plastic. Not only is it seriously a terrible decision for the environment, it’s as lazy as they can get. Enough said.

If you're looking for a bar with some east coast feel this one is pretty good. Music is usually better than my spotify playlist.
