The experience and meal were the best part of our New Years Eve in the city. Great food never felt rushed, excellent service. Will return.

Our Christmas dinner experience was fabulous! Our waiter was efficient and timely with each part of the meal. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect for a great holiday experience.

Service was attentive, congenial and good on advice. I had the fish and chips, I substituted for onion rings. The cod was under fried and lacked flavor. The onion rings were over done , crunchy to a fault. Our small table for two sat along the back side of the servers bar. Not the best for dining comfort.

Anytime my grandma, my wife, and I are in Seattle, we make it a point to visit Shuckers at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel. It's one of those places that feels familiar and special all at once. During our early December visit this past weekend, we stopped in for dinner and were fortunate to have Christopher as our server. He was wonderful — a true wealth of knowledge about the historic space Shuckers occupies and full of interesting facts about the hotel itself. His care and conversation added so much to the evening. The food was, as always, very good. While we still fondly remember the Irish soda bread from years past, the sourdough was a nice way to begin the meal. We enjoyed a lovely French wine with dinner, started with a prawn cocktail and its perfectly tangy cocktail sauce, and followed with excellent entrées. My grandma had the scallops, beautifully prepared, and I did as well — fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Shuckers continues to be a place we love returning to, not just for the food but for the feeling it brings. Many thanks to Christopher for taking such good care of us. We look forward to our next visit.

Love the cozy ambiance, this is the second year we've gone with our grandchildren before a play. It has great food for adults and kids, excellent cocktails and our server Craig couldn't have been nicer and accommodating to all our needs.

We are always welcomed here. I can't say enough about Jim and how well he takes care of us. The food is always perfect. We had my mom, sister, and niece there for the first time and it was a fantastic evening.

This was our second experience and it proved the first was no fluke. The atmosphere, service, and food were outstanding. Darla and Jim are simply fantastic. We will absolutely encourage others to grab a bite to eat here.

We had a wonderful night at Shuckers. The Oysters were the number one item of the night. I had the Lobster Mac n cheese (small portion) for dinner. The Mac N Cheese was very bland and lacked any flavor :-( . I did not finish it . Partner has the Halibut special. The Halibut was very dry , over cooked . The Brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes were amazing. Drinks and service were amazing. The food needs some improvement to be a 4-5 star. The staff could not be kinder

The weekday happy hour is awesome. $2 local oysters, $8 popcorn shrimp, and $7 draft craft beers. Yes, it's a pricier place outside of happy hour but based on the high quality of the "cheap eats," I am guessing the food quality would still make Shuckers a good value.

Had not visited since pre-covid. Ambiance can't be beat. Excellent seafood well prepared. Bit pricey, but where isn't these fays. Service staff amazing as always.

Had a great night as expected, as we have been here quite a few times before. Oyster recommendations were right on the mark, and Cesar salad was perfectly to our liking. The only downfall was the clams and mussels order; not sure whose concoction it was, and our apologies for the frankness, but it was absolutely terrible. Needs to come off the menu in our opinion. Otherwise an enjoyable evening.

Lovely spot for dining! The food was excellent, as was the service and atmosphere. I appreciated the chef's willingness to work with my husband's food sensitivities! Will definitely go again.

This is probably my favorite fine dining restaurant in the city. It is approachable yet feels very fancy and like a treat when you were there. Obviously we come for oysters and celebrate special occasions.
