The fish and chips was pretty bad
We use to love this restaurant/bar..was my go to with out of town family and friends! Last visit with my husband was BAD. Food was as usual and (not great) decent but the waitress!!!!! As soon as we opened the door and waited the 5 full minutes uncomfortably in the entrance before being acknowledged until she finally walked up and asked for Vax records. I sure don't mind showing that but find another job if you hate people that bad. Say hello, welcome the person to your
establishment or close. Won't go back there.
We have been to this restaurant many times and have always enjoyed but Thursday, March 31st, 2022, we were disappointed. When our party of three arrived at around 7:00; it was crowded, which is often the case. After waiting twenty minutes, with no contact from any of the staff, a table for four vacated. We waited for it to be cleaned, but that never happened. Finally we seated ourselves. There was only one waitress so we had to wait for her take our order, but they were out of number of items on their limited menu. (Had to remind that the table needed to be wiped down). Ordered drinks at the time we placed our food order. By the time our food arrived, we had finished our drinks and ordered another round. Unfortunately, our second round of drinks, didn’t arrive until we were finished with our meal.Normally, we won’t complain as the waitress was extremely overworked and doing her best but we couldn’t help but notice that there were several other male staff (owners?) having a great time laughing and visiting while seated with patrons especially those two ladies seated by the door and the group at the corner table. Looked like those two tables were getting a lot of attention at the expense of the rest of the restaurant.
***Update***Sadly, Sidestreet is closed until further notice due to an unfortunate and serious health issue with the owner. Sincerely hope they open back up as soon as as reasonably possible.
Always excellent. The charred broccoli is the hidden gem on the menu. Great drinks. Great staff. Cozy atmosphere. Great pricing.
Great food and great service. Check them out

Small restaurant with big flavor. Really recommend it if you want real fresh food with a down home feel to it
I love their steak salad and the server was experienced and fun. They always do a great job.
Just moved to Burien and this place already feels like our perfect little neighborhood bar & grill. Food is excellent and the drinks are great. Hot & cold salad, chilli, and negroni were all perfect.
