It’s like Chipotle when you get tired of Chipotle. When you wanna be healthy and just want to shove your head in a bucket of food like a horse without much guilt. It offers that experience. I commend this establishment.

It’s very fresh and you get more food for less price here compared to nearby restaurants. Sometimes there is a lot of liquid at the bottom of a rice bowl though.
Overall, really solid price–quality–quantity balance.
I ordered the grilled beef bowl with all the toppings, plus the green sauce and their soy sauce—and I loved it. The meat was juicy and definitely grilled—not boiled or bland. It had that slightly smoky flavor.
The soy sauce wasn’t just plain soy—it had a sweet and spicy twist that added a lot of flavor. The toppings were fresh and crunchy, and the green sauce was fantastic too—bright and flavorful without overpowering the rest of the bowl.

The House Pork plate was amazing! Really good meat, full portions and rich in taste! My favorite place in U district!

Like most have shared, if you can avoid a restaraunt on the ave.. it might be this one. I think once they opened the spot in Bellevue this place has been neglected.

I’m not a picky person, but the bahn mi was literally barely cut and they just threw everything onto it and it could not even shut because it was not properly cut. I ordered two and they were both like this. We literally could not eat it. Any other bahn mi place around is good this place was terrible

Disappointing banh mi. Relatively flavorless, light on everything other than bread, and soggy bread. There are several better options nearby.

As a Vietnamese person, this is possibly the worst banh mi I've ever had. The bread, which is essential to the identity of this kind of sandwich, is entirely wrong. It's like a hoagie roll and was dry. I had their banh mi at the SLU location last year and that bread wasn't great either but this is on another level. There are Vietnamese bakeries and delis that make Vietnamese baguettes in Seattle that can supply so this is not excusable imo. Other Vietnamese restaurants can get the right bread, why not here. As for the fillings, it's ok. Ingredients are fresh. Not the most flavorful chicken but I did appreciate that there was plenty of meat and veggies.
I also had a rice bowl here, reminiscent of com tam. Rice bowl was much better, though fish sauce was just ok.
Workers were kind and speedy but interaction was minimal.
At the end of the day, it's like chipotle to Mexican food. It's not authentic really (they asked if I wanted fish sauce with the sandwich which was odd—never encountered that before in America or Vietnam) but it works I guess. I'm not gonna come back when there's other smaller Viet restaurants in the u-district I can support UNLESS the bread situation improves.

Soooooo good. Better than chipotle tbh. No shade all tea tho. Had their chicken salad with a double sided egg. Probably one of the best salads I've had here in Seattle.
