Review of Skillet Counter at Seattle I wanted to share a brief review of our recent experience at the Skillet Counter in the Seattle Center. Attached, you will find a few photos for reference. Here is a breakdown based on our experience using a rating system of one through 10: - Parking: 5/10 (Paid parking as expected in Seattle, overall safe during the day) - Location: 7/10 (Mall-like atmosphere with ample seating options) - Service: 7/10 (Average service, nothing extraordinary) - Drinks: 9/10 (Wide variety of drink options, self-service fountain drinks) - Food: 9/10 (Good quality and portion size) - Price: 8/10 (Fair pricing considering the location) Overall, my family and I enjoyed our visit and would definitely consider returning. Despite the slightly higher prices, the unique menu offerings like the spicy honey chicken biscuit sandwich made the experience worthwhile. Additionally, there are plenty of attractions around the Seattle Center to explore after your meal. Thank you for taking the time to read this review.

Do not come here. I got food poisoning from the breakfast burrito! Everything tasted fine, but everyone in my party felt extremely sick and have been throwing up the last couple of days after dining here.

This place was okay for a not so quick lunch in the Armory. I was with my niece and she's a picky eater so a plain burger seemed like a good option. Ordering was fine and that's about the only time the experience was fine. Trying to find a clean table was not fine, the empty ones were filthy. Getting all of the various extras from the shelves in the middle was also not fine. Most of the things were empty. Including the ketchups and people really get aggressive with that pump and ketchup goes everywhere. Food took a while and when I asked for things from the staff that were missing in the self-help area, I had to ask multiple times just to never get it. The price doesn't really seem worth it.

Unfortunately we were charged for food we never received. After requesting it was taken care of/ removed from the check, we were blown off and the charge remained.I’m sad to see that the customer service was so awful- we typically love the location in capital hill.Highly disappointed.

Came here during lunch time and there was only one cashier and one cook. Asked how long the wait was for food and was told 15 minutes, but might be less. They were out of macaroni and cheese as well as waffles on the kids menu and three of their soft drinks were out of stock too. Payed over $70 for lunch and waited an hour for our food to be done. Kids got chicken nuggets and they were terrible!!!

Don’t go here if you are hungry, over an hour wait for the food, the cashier lies and says less than 20 and now over an hour later we still do t have our food. Kids are starving and we missed our reservations for the laser show at Pacific Science Center. We had a fun day planned but skillet counter ruined our experience.

Update: Gave another chance. Menu has changed now too. Used to be the best fries in town. Now, clearly frozen from a package. Used to get "clucks n fries" smaller portion of chicken thighs and fries...was told "we don't have those anymore, you should have the chicken nuggets!" So I did. Processed chicken pressed in animal shapes. Clearly from a frozen bag. Its fine to change the menu, but you definitely aren't hitting your stated mission: "great food prepared with care, technique, and the best of ingredients" Over priced frozen food isn't great, isn't demonstrating care or technique and definitely isn't the best of ingredients So sad. I've been coming here since they parked the Airstream out by what is now KEXP, and this is embarrassing. You've ruined an establishment, its over.

Nice place to go if you plan on walking around the Seattle center. We didn’t want to wait forever at the primary location. Their chicken is great but be prepared for a mess if you get a sandwich, at least the mess is worth it. It’s also on the pricey side.

The food seems good enough, though overpriced. can't say much about the ambiance as it's in the Armory, so, you get what you get with that. service, on the other hand. not an overly busy day, but waited nearly 30 minutes for a breakfast sandwich and other breakfast. the order queueing might be partly to blame as I'm pretty sure I saw people come after me and get food before me. I asked about my order and am pretty sure I got a "sneeze muffin." What are you going to do?
