The waffle was unpalatable, I couldn’t consume more than the bite I spit out. Both my mom and I had waffles ? but mine came out gritty and thick. Like the dough was not well prepared. ?

The eggs and bacon were fine but what offends me is that we changed our order because the waiter made it sound like a huge expensive and annoying hassle to take side orders and I wanted to share an order with my mother that already included two waffles knowing we wouldn’t eat much.

The order the waiter chose included a huuuuuuge side of greasy side potatoes (their version of hash browns I believe ) and that tasted disgusting. Just like the waffles were unpalatable.

I just feel that the meal was not worth me spending $100, paying for parking, and in the end the meal was so unsatisfactory we didn’t even want to go.

Other issues; broken first restroom (so people of both genders walk in on you), refused my reservation and then didn’t want to sit us on a table but an awkward small countertop, and the service was lamentable. The Spanish workers were very diligent and polite though. Still disappointed with the service.

To me it was not worth it. The mocha coffee was alright, the avocado, the over easy eggs ok, and the bacon alright but nothing remarkable to come back too.

Small uncomfortable tables and chairs, awkward set up for water cups, napkins, and utensils. Bad food with expensive prices. Just not worth it.

Should have gone elsewhere ??

Please remember parking ?️ is difficult, expensive, and limited.

***Also, for the limited booth seats we arrived and a few were dirty and denied to us and as we left the same issue even on other side tables.

Parking: Free street parking ?️ Sunday 6pm to 10 and holidays

It’s a popular breakfast place so it can be tough to get a table, but it’s pretty solid food. I’ve tried about half the menu, it’s very fried chicken forward but the fried chicken is excellent, so give at least one of those dishes a try. Eggs are cooked correctly, tasty potatoes, overall quite good.

We were in Seattle for the weekend and had the opportunity to try this restaurant. It was busy so we sat at the counter, and glad we did because the host told us all of the details on the menu. I had the fired chicken and waffles with hot honey. Food was great, service was great, atmosphere was great. Will go again next time in the City.

The he food it’s very good whatever you order you’ll love it. I didn’t like the tables to close and small but that aside you’re in for a treat. The price I guess for the area is justified

Okay generic new age city diner, no local personality. Fast service but the server charged for a full salad, it was supposed to be the side with a main dish with only a small extra charge. Upcharging tactic for making Capitol Hill rent I suppose. Drip coffee is $5. Food tasted good enough but I won't go back, there's too many great local places with local charm and great food. Check your order and make sure it's correct before you pay, they'll upcharge you

Vegetarian options: They offer avocado in place of fried chicken.... Lazy and not vegan informed. They could at least offer a field roast or tofu option jeez

Rachael is very kind and friendly. The chorizo gravy with biscuits was delicious, with a little kick. The donuts were hot and covered with cinnamon! Yum!
