This place is amazing! The service is second-to-none, and the food is pretty much Michelin star worthy. My boyfriend got the smoked brisket breakfast tacos and I got the “Just Like Home” with a side of sausage. The meats were better than any I’ve ever had (sorry, Dad!) and everything else was great too. Cannot recommend this place enough! If you’re in the Seattle area, definitely encourage you to make your way to the Skylark Cafe!

This place is wonderful, try the Bloody Mary! It’s better than a first kiss. The brisket breakfast tacos taste like Texas and mexicos love child. I would recommend this to any person big or small, short or tall. DEFINITELY TRY IT OUT . You won’t regret it.

Always love coming here to eat. It's a short walk from where I live and the patio is dog friendly so Frankie can come along. The food + service is always fantastic.I haven't been here for a show/music but I'm sure it's a blast.

Local friend recommended. Literally the best BLT I've ever had in my life. And I have had a lot of BLTs. This is actually a BLAT Since a little avocado is added. It's the perfect touch.Matt, the proprietor, cures his own bacon and it is unbelievable. Seasoned with a perfect blend that isn't too spicy, isn't too sweet, and isn't too smokey. On top of that, it's cooked perfection, so you'll want to double up on your sandwich. The BLT is also toasted on the inside of the bread. Game changer.Recommend the fries or tater tots as a compliment. And my buddy eating the brisket was loving it as well (Matt smoked as well). Oh, the hand breaded and fried chicken for the chicken salad is juicy, flavorful, and literally dissolves in your mouth. Pork pastrami is amazing.Let me be clear... Matt is a meat genius. You can't beat Matt's meat, though you can meat Matt.Karaoke seems to be something that everyone enjoyed. Cannot recommend this place enough.I will be back.Vegetarian options: You can always get a salad. It was super freshDietary restrictions: Matt is the owner and he is on hand to have a discussion withParking: Parked right outside and walked right inKid-friendliness: Kids kicked off karaoke so I'm going to go with. It's very kid friendly ?Wheelchair accessibility: Not the smoothest, but certainly an option to get in with a wheelchair no problem

We love the Skylark, it’s our local go to bar for live music. They smoke foods on site, and the sandwiches are excellent.

The Skylark is a fun live music venue in West Seattle. They have a good selection of beers on tap. The menu looked good; however, I just had some tots since I came after dinner. The staff was friendly and the service was good. They have a good sound system and a nice stage area for live music. I saw Sugar Bones and The Fast Nasties. Both are awesome original bands, so the venue attracts good talent. They also have open mic night here. The parking lot next to the building was small and full when I arrived at 8 pm. They have an overflow lot, but it isn't the easiest to find.

Appearance is funky punk rock bar turned cafe. We ordered chicken and waffle. A boneless deep fried piece of chicken on top of a dry stale waffle. The chicken had good flavor and texture. The waffle came with a honey syrup that did not taste like honey at all, it was thin like water and had spicy savory flavor. The waffle was hard, dry and burnt, even a bit black and tasted spicy, not good when I had expected a normal standard type of waffle. No parking at all, so you need to park a ways away and risk walking in this pretty trashy unsafe neighborhood. I would not go back again.

Generally has been a great spot for Wednesday Open Mic Music, a terrible place for comedy. The Skylark Cafe is where Woke Comedy thrives and the owners are very rude, requesting that you purchase drinks every hour or get out (I usually over support venues hosting a mic and purchased a lot of food every time... did not purchase anything ONE time and the owner was really mad at me for being broke). It's just a social kindness and empathy gap that is missing between the owners ears...Will not be back here...still a fun environment overall but cant support rude robotic people
