Top notch, nothing but praise!
Cool place. Best brisket/sandwich I have had in Washington.
Ever since Scratch on 12th closed down I’ve been on the hunt for place that makes sandwiches as good as they did, and I think I finally found it.
Much like Scratch, the sandwiches seem a bit small at first, but one bite and…omg the flavors. It’s well balanced, and by the time you’re done you’re full because the meat portions are juicy and generous. It passes my Chipotle test - worth the flavor and not leaving me hungry with a list price around $15.
I plan to try every sandwich they have, but the two I’ve gotten to were excellent. Thick, juicy meat, balanced and flavorful sauces and other items, and soft bread that completes the taste and feel. I even got a free cookie. I’m not much of fan of cookies, but this one continued the trend of being well balanced (and well salted), and everyone I shared it with enjoyed it.
The shop itself it just a counter and a drink fridge, no real place to sit. It works, it’s nice, but plan to take it to go.
I will be back here as often as I can, tho probably not as often as I’d like as they’re only open for lunch.
Absolutely delicious Cubano sandwich. Highly highly recommend. Cool spot connected to a restaurant where they allow you to dine at the bar. Kind employee. But the sandwich was so so so good.
The brisket sandwich was possibly the best sandwich I've ever had.
I worked in the food industry for over a decade.
Perfect sandwiches and fries, and the service was great!
Get the cubano!!!
It sounds like the fried chicken sando appreciation may vary. We got the fried chicken sando snd the cuban, and we both preferred the fried chicken. It is not HOT, but is flavorful, crispy and delicious, and the pickles and slaw are super complimentary. The Cuban is an excellent Cuban, but we liked the fried chicken sando better.
This is the best sandwich in Seattle, there is no comparison. I look forward to coming here every week for lunch. The Cubano sandwich brings light to my day and the chocolate cookie brings me home with its savory yet sweet palate. Every time I come in am welcomed with warmth further exiting me for the experience of their sandwiches. The vibe in the restaurant is calm and welcoming, having cold water is overlooked, yet slab comes ready every day with cold water to wash down the incredible tastes. I keep the restaurant close to me to not let it get saturated by non believers of the experience of real culinary excellence.
Not every sandwich on this menu is worth the high prices -- but the ones that are, are incredible. The burrata sandwich is one of my favorite sandwiches in all of Seattle. The chicken and brisket ones are okay.

Fried chicken sandwich was good, but seemed to lack a bit, mainly of spicy. Expected it would be hot with the ghost pepper ranch but even with extra on the side for it didn't make a difference and wasn't hot at all. Should have tried the Cubano recommended instead
Sandwiches were pretty good, but they took far too long to prepare. My friend paid extra for oat milk in a cortado but definitely received regular milk.

The cubano is fantastic! I wouldn't say it's a traditional cubano but I actually prefer whatever they've created.
The aoli on the sandwich is very good and offers a light and citrus compliment that is normally where the briney mustard taste would come in.
The bread is soft and the pulled pork was well seasoned!
Go try it!
