FLAVOR ~ We stopped in on a Friday for lunch while waiting for our bikes to be serviced at Jet City in Renton. Easy to get to and well worth the drive. If you love chili this place has several to try. The all time favorite is the Texas red. You can’t go wrong with the all time favorite. And of those with a full flavor pallet, I recommend that chili Verde. Smoked pork with tomatillo and jalapeños and some beer. It is a very flavorful experience. The brisket and beans had a great Smokey brisket and sauce.
I recommend getting a cup of three to try. And try their corn bread with honey butter.
This is a must stop in and try for lunch.

Service was great. Place is comfortable good atmosphere. Just wasn't impressed with burger or fries and it was really really expensive.

Dive bar with great food. Loved my chili burger. Its tough to get Texas Red in Seattle but Slim does and it's right on. May need a splash of hotsauce but I'll definitely be back.

As close to a Texas Roadhouse you'll ever get in Seattle.

Haven't eaten here, but it's a fun place to play a gig, or watch somebody else play a gig.

The food was good, drinks delicious, staff amazing - the bill? Very very expensive.
This place is special, from chili you can get served over grits or topped with “the works” to the excellent variety of shows, sunny summer ones are in the yard on the truck bed stage. I once got a splinter in my bottom on my birthday from a bench at this place but even that couldn’t cool my love of Slim’s!

Great food, good beer!
A small hidden hole in the wall country themed bar in South Seattle. I had the brisket chili over Mac and cheese. They were having open mic night . The food was excellent. The bartender, I forget her name was awesome. She was friendly and personable. It was an unexpected pleasure to go there before my night job that night. Truly a 5 star experience.

Went to a VME swap meet there. Bar was closed but it looked coil and very nice of them to let it take place
My oh my… Oh my
What a gem what wonderful food I think the burger was probably the best I've had at least in 10 years and I can only say that because maybe there was a better burger, but I just can't remember that far back
I am lucky this place is on my way home because I certainly am gonna stop by here more often
This was my first time, and I am thrilled with the pricing, the staff atmosphere, my oh my I wish I could say I'm speechless, But this place has more solid vote. I can't wait to try their chili next time:). Thank you, places like this that do their job well!
Thanks Ali and Pedro !
Get the Chili! See live music. Be happy!
Old fashioned tavern with character
Bowl of chili was tasty, but served lukewarm. Excellent service. Would try again and skip the chili.
