FLAVOR ~ We stopped in on a Friday for lunch while waiting for our bikes to be serviced at Jet City in Renton. Easy to get to and well worth the drive. If you love chili this place has several to try. The all time favorite is the Texas red. You can’t go wrong with the all time favorite. Dive bar with great food. Loved my chili burger. Its tough to get Texas Red in Seattle but Slim does and it's right on. May need a splash of hotsauce but I'll definitely be back.
This place is special, from chili you can get served over grits or topped with “the works” to the excellent variety of shows, sunny summer ones are in the yard on the truck bed stage. I once got a splinter in my bottom on my birthday from a bench at this place but even that couldn’t cool my love of Slim’s!
