The Sloop Tavern is one of the oldest pubs in Ballard, offering a casual and low-key atmosphere with a great beer selection. The fish and chips are delicious, with fresh fish and crusty tempura batter. The hamburger with grilled onions is a hit, and the potato salad is superb. The bartender is friendly and efficient. A favorite spot for boaters, the tavern has its own yacht club. It is a small place with two pool tables, but the food is pretty good, and the service is provided by one hardworking lady.
