This is how my appetizer was served to our table, with a dead bug on it!! If this came out of the kitchen like that I can’t even imagine what everything else back there looks like. The GM came by and tried to comp our entire table and wanted to give us a gift card to come back and leave a good review. Crazy to think we people want you to come back to eat here if it’s dirty !!! Did not take the gift card because I’m not coming back. We also have a severe nut allergy and brought us our item with nuts still. They could’ve caused a medical emergency.

I had dinner there with my wife and kids last Saturday and one of my kids has autism so he was being louder then the usual kid i do not know if they’re waiters are trained properly or they are just unprofessional but they kept giving our table a side eye and made us feel very un welcomed being very short and un attentive we will not be coming back ! I hope y’all have a better experience!

We ordered a kale and acorn salad, and chicken masala. The acorn was uncooked, the kale was rancid and yellowing and it was thrown together with walnuts that had gone bad. The chicken looked like vomit. Easily some of the worst salads and food we’ve ever had. Avoid this place—don’t know what happened to it but it’s awful.

Restaurantji Recommends
First time at Smith. The happy hour menu is expansive and had numerous gluten free options for my celiac partner. The service was top notch. I would recommend Smith to anyone looking for great food.
Atmosphere was cool, food was ok…..we were first in on a Sunday before the Seahawks. A 5 person group with one baby ordering drinks , Terrible service! No one was friendly, no free refills for coffee, no dirty plates cleared. Not gonna lie huge disappointment. Then we get charged 20 percent gratuity for a “large party”. They counted the baby who didn’t order! Kit Kat gimme a break broh!

It's a pretty open space restaurant so it can get a little noisy but that's literally the only issue I have. Service was friendly and quick. The chicken and waffles are amazing. I've eaten many chicken and waffles in Seattle, this has easily become my favorite. Will definitely be putting Smith in my regular brunch rotation.

Service was great food was just ok. Bloody Mary was fairly basic - nothing special about the mix or flavor. Waffles were “doughy” why was interesting because they were browned on the surface but almost too soft in the middle.
