The margherita pizza was excellent; would definitely get it again. The Goatsmary pizza tasted ok but was very dry. Needs at least more oil or something else to add a little moisture.
The wine was nice.

There, in the fire-lit glow of Smoking Monkey, where the oven hums like an old forgotten hymn, Matt and I sat beneath the low-hung light, our hands resting on the worn wood of the table, our hearts wide as a sailor’s sky.

The Caesar came first, crisp leaves trembling beneath their golden shroud, a dust of Parmigiano falling like the first frost of winter. O, the anchovy’s sharp whisper, the bright sting of lemon, the salt upon our tongues like the bracing kiss of the sea!

Then the meatballs—round, ruddy, steeped in the slow-dreaming heat of a deep red sauce, thick as old wine, rich as the earth’s own blood. We ate, and the world grew softer, the night thick with warmth and wonder.

And at last, the pizza! O fire-born beauty, O golden-crusted dream! The bread sang as we broke it, crackling under the weight of molten cheese, of spice and char, of all the wild delights that only the heat of a great and knowing flame can summon. Each bite a moment, each slice a hymn, each mouthful a step deeper into some ancient and sacred joy.

O Smoking Monkey, keeper of the hearth, bearer of bright and holy sustenance! We leave your doors as men transformed, our hunger sated, our spirits lifted, our thoughts drifting, even now, to the flicker of your eternal flame.

Incredibly disappointing experience. Ordered a signature pizza with no modifications, and they were over 20 minutes late from the 'order is ready' text, forgot 1/3rd of the toppings, and they weren't even busy (only 2 occupied tables).

Pizza was fairly cheap but no good. I would’ve been more satisfied with dominos or even Pizza Hut. Also the ai generated logo is horrible y’all need to fix that

very bad experience

Stopped by for the first time and we were impressed by the prices and portion sizes. Friendly staff, options for everyone (even picky eaters), and family friendly for little ones. My husband said the bathrooms were cleaned, oh and mocktails for under $10.
We got the pasta Alfredo and the wings with sweet chili. Oh for the ranch lovers, the ranch is ranching. Recommending Smoking Monkey Pizza to our friends.

Kid-friendliness: Plenty of space for a little pre dinner meltdown.

I want to love this place. The food was great and those prices are very reasonable, especially for it being in Magnolia. The staff is not experienced enough and is constantly arguing. It through off the whole vibe. The wait time was crazy, I heard someone say they waited 2 hours. The server was so busy with to go orders that we didn't even get water until the end of our meal. If they get better service, I would be a regular here. Next time, I will probably order to go.

Waited 1 hour and 56 minutes for two cold pizzas. The ordering system is not managed correctly. Pizza was barely acceptable after reheating at home. I rarely ever post anything but positive reviews but this was unacceptable.

Update, restaurant contacted me and refunded the pizza portion of the order. I'll amend my review if their future service improves.
