The Seven Flavor Beef was a well know West Seattle favorite of the new owner’s former now closed restaurant, Lee’s Asian. He had added it to the Judy Fu menu. A bit too salty this time around. Reduce the salt and you’ll have a new neighbor winner. Folks in West Seattle have gone without their Seven Flavor Beef fix for so long have wondered. So here you go.
Dietary restrictions: very friendly to gluten free folks!!

These folks make some d--- fine food. The portions are immense (family style, order for the group and share!), well priced for the portions, and extremely good quality, especially for the price-to-quantity ratio.
I personally recommend the homemade noodles, they have a pleasant chewiness. The salt and pepper chicken, fried rice, crispy fried wontons, and the nine flavor beef were all great. The nine flavor beef had a sweet-tangy flavor that was completely unique, with an almost caramelized note to it that was absolutely wild. EXTREMELY rich, I recommend ordering something light to accompany it.
My new mainstay for chinese food.

Newcomers to Seattle don’t always appreciate how few places are left from the Seattle that people born and raised here grew up with. Snappy Dragon may not be the best Chinese food in the city, but I’m honestly not sure what place would win that title, and I am happy with the food and nostalgia they serve. I worked at a rival NE Seattle Chinese restaurant in high school called Black Pearl, also run by Taiwanese immigrants, and they both serve many of the same dishes. The portions are generous and flavorful, I especially love the Kung Pao Tofu, seven flavor beef and pan fried potstickers. Snappy Dragon brings me back to a Seattle that was less affluent and less pretentious.

We're so happy their back open for dine-in! This has been a family favorite for decades. Covid put it into take-out only for years. Their homemade noodles are the best! Great soups, pot stickers, and the entrees are all the best. A must for anyone in Seattle or visiting!
Vegetarian options: You can always get veggie options.
Parking: A small lot in the back but street parking is always available.
Wheelchair accessibility: Tables with easy spaces for wheelchairs.

The vegan Hot & Sour Soup here is unreal, truly. Ive been scouring the earth for something that hits the same as late night Panda Express' hot and sour soup back in 2012 - this is like the healthy "not from concentrate" version of that. Iykyk
Also the ma po tofu and the veggie chow mein are both vegan / GF and insanely good. This place doesn’t miss - 10/10

Their “juicy dumplings with dipping sauce” are rightfully famous but the crispy eggplant with hot & tangy sauce is genuinely one of the most delicious dishes I’ve ever been served. Had it once a few months ago and haven’t been able to stop craving it, so of course we ordered it again this time! We also tried the ma po tofu and it was fantastic as well.

A very nice little place where you can enjoy some delicious Chinese. Tofu is delicious like any other dish. The staff is very helpful and welcoming. The servings are plentiful. Perhaps the furnishings are a bit simple and aseptic but otherwise I really recommend it. There are several car parks available nearby.

I found the food to be just neutral. Nothing special.
The pot stickers too doughy..
It's just ok overall.

I didn't realize the home made noodles had changed drastically. The chowmein was my go to and this time it was too salty and noodle had no texture.

The food is quite good. Green onion pancake and chow mein were great. The style of the homemade noodle has changed since I last had it. I seem to recall the noodles being a handrolled style. Flavor is similar but the texture is different.
The waitress was great, despite me arriving at 1101am. No one likes that customer. My bad dawg.

Absolutely phenomenal Chinese food. Get the home style noodles with your chowmein. I've had this place several times over the last year and Snappy dragon is always good. All the fried rices are incredible.

Goated. A classic staple of Seattle dining. Please do yourself a favor and come here for some wine and just perfect comfort food. Literally 0 misses on this menu. I do miss their cocktails though.

i do not trust this food LOL. horrible noodles, weird rubbery chicken, incredibly overfried and overbreaded prawns, dry pork. btw this place has an "ok" food safety rating soo i really would not recommend it on any front. only decent parts were the wonton soup (good but oversalted), the tea that came with our food (normal jasmine tea idk if it was good quality but tasted fine), and the fact our waitress was nice. She did smell kind of weird though. whoever was playing music on the overhead speakers had pretty good taste, also.
