The chicken is great! Wasn't a fan of the fried rice but they know what they're doing with the appetizers and the main dishes. Bathroom was on the fritz but I give 5 stars for the chicken

Open till 11? Sure, but don't expect to dine in if you're there after 10. Maybe it was because it was late? But the wait time certainly wasn't worth the hype of some other reviews. Took the food to go, for the 2 min ride back home and the was left wondering if it was that fresh, why wasnt the food pipping hot still? The soy garlic was ok. The hot bbq had decent kick, but not real spicy, the mandu was cold, and the kimchi fried rice was disappointing.

I've gotten delivery from Sodam Chicken a few times now.

Foremost, their chicken is exquisite. Even after travel, the crunchiness of the chicken holds up. Their fried chicken is meaty, tender, and juicy as well.

I've gotten a few of the sides that come with their chicken combo, but they don't seem to match up to the chicken. The rice and pickled radish are probably the best options. The mandu seem more like gyoza, which is fine, but neither they nor the egg rolls stay crispy as well as the chicken does. I would skip the fries for the same reason, but they are even soggier.

I hope to visit soon to try their food fresh!

Sodam Chicken is absolutely divine! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff here go above and beyond to make sure you're enjoying everything, checking in frequently and always making you feel like a valued guest.

Now, let's talk about the food—wow! The fried chicken is simply amazing, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with so many delicious flavors to choose from. The coleslaw was fresh and perfectly balanced, a great complement to the rich flavors of the chicken. I loved that you could choose 2 different sauces to suit your taste, adding a nice personalized touch to the meal.

The ambiance is fantastic, with a modern and cozy vibe. The K-pop music playing in the background made the experience even more enjoyable, adding energy without being overwhelming. Whether you're dining in or taking out, Sodam Chicken is a must-visit for anyone craving flavorful, top-quality fried chicken. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love this place.

I've enjoyed brining my family here since it opened. Would recommend it friend groups of any size, to families wanting to enjoy a meal together.

Outstanding overall experience! Highly recommend! I don’t eat out much because I like to cook but this is a favorite of mine! I’ve been dining here since close to when they opened and have tried most of the menu items. Delicious flavorful food at reasonable prices. Excellent deep fried results! Superb perfection on preparations and presentations. Rustic cast iron and wood presentations complimenting entrees. Careful attention to service and detail.

Favorites so far: curry fried rice and golden fried bone-in chicken, but I also love many of the other items and don’t always get the same things. Love the stir fry noodle and rice dishes and the meat entrees are very flavorful too!

Wishes for future changes: bone-in leg and thigh option (although they do offer beautiful boneless roasted thigh option); non-alcoholic beer and liquor; bigger napkins and plates; lower music volume (although theirs is lower than most).

I hope that the new G-Rapid-Ride transit option improves their customer volume! They have worked hard and deserve it!

We had delivery and the boneless chicken bites were awesome!

Please be aware Sodam Chicken no long accepting Groupon vouchers even the ones that already paid for. The restaurant told me it stopped accepting Groupon vouchers from beginning of September 2024 and asked me to get refunds from Groupon.
