This has been my current favorite new spot to eat at, SOUFend Cafe. The name itself was already catchy, but I heard about this place from seeing posts of their banh uot tower and it reminded me of this one place I went to in Vietnam. You MUST try it; it's a tower of steamed rice roll sheets that you have a selection of protein to choose from, mixed with fresh herbs and veggies, roll it all up and dip in fish sauce. Oh. My. God. South End (Soufend) represent! Love, love, love all of the Seattle decor here. So bright, friendly, and clean, and all the food looks delicious. They have a very long list of specials of Vietnamese food that isn’t as common in Seattle.

Fun spot run by local “soufend”-ers. Food portions are generous. Everything was fresh and tasty. We had the avocado toast and spring rolls. Excellent peanut sauce. I’m excited to come back for the wings, rice roll tower (everyone was ordering and enjoying this!), and desserts. Fast, friendly service. Our drinks were great. Love the South Seattle-inspired decor and the nod to south end history with the wifi password. Well done!
