WOW! Brian and Kathryn were incredible. We had a surprise 50th wedding anniversary party for my parents so wanted something very special. From the beginning Brian knew exactly what would work best. He came out and did a site visit and walked me through where things should be. He came up with an incredible menu and was so communicative throughout the process.That was the lead up. The event was even better. They came early to drop off ice and then were back exactly on time. Cosmo, the lead was the nicest guy as was the other gentleman. Brian knew exactly where to best set up the grills for the onsite cedar planked salmon and just took care of everything so I could focus on the party and my guests. The food, especially the salmon, was unreal. As people were leaving the party nearly everyone commented on how incredible the food was. Some people even went back for THIRDS! Brian was not joking when he said he comes, "loaded for bear" as there was leftovers for our family the next day.I highly recommend them! So professional, so kind, timely, and delicious food.

We hired Brian to provide 7 appetizers, 1 salad and a few items for a kid's table for our 50th Wedding Anniversary party this past June. From the initial call with him we knew he would provide marvelous food & service! He was easy to work with, had great suggestions on where to set up his staging area and the buffet, and flexible with what he would provide and what we would provide. Our guests raved about the food and the servers went beyond just serving: they kept the beverages ((that we supplied) cold and refilled.The pictures didn't turn out, but it was a beautiful set up.

Everyone that works for Special Occasions has been so accommodating. They worked with our budget and made a great meal plan. The tasting was relaxed and fun. They have gone above and beyond to answer all our questions and adjust to the ever-increasing guest list. Really great people work here and make really delicious food. In addition to the food, they are coordinating the beverage service and linens as part of their service which takes two more things off my plate. Their servers are all licensed to serve alcohol so if the bar needs help they can step in. I am so glad this company was recommended by our venue. I have no doubt our food and service will be great.

When it comes to picking a caterer, we couldn't be happier with the service we received from Brian and his team. It's unusual that so many companies wouldn't be flexible when it came to a tasting before signing a contract or putting money down. For the Special Occasions team, one could tell they were confident with the quality of their food.From the initial tasting we could already tell Brian was passionate about what he does. Right off the bat he was accommodating and open to questions. The food matched what we were given during the tasting; salmon still juicy, rice pilaf seasoned and fresh, etc. It's a great experience when what you try is what you get on the big day.After choosing our menu the rest was pretty easy. Despite being busy with other events Brian still did his very best to keep in contact with us and his team also assisted with any questions we had, up until the day of the event.Wedding day comes and we had the pleasure of a whole staff (plus Brian) come to set up and help us with last minute needs. They took care of our family and friends, made sure things were cleaned up, and one great gentleman even joined in and started dancing during the Cupid Shuffle. You have a great group of people passionate about food, service and having a good time during for what many consider a stressful yet fun day. And, the food was excellent! We used him for our mom's Celebration of Life. He helped manage costs and talked us off the ledge at the last minute when we were panicking about quantities.
