Ducked in for some happy hour fish n chips which were surprisingly delish. Flaky fish, crispy fries, nice portions - the trifecta. Great service too, and a laid back vibe (divey but not grimy); nice enough for a dimly lit pub. Beers were a bit flat though, which kinda disappointed me.

Such a treat to have such a great pub in Greenwood. The bartenders are really great, and they host some fun local events and concerts.

My home team (Liverpool) bar owned by an Arsenal fan but he is cool, serves the best beer and drinks and some how always have a great atmosphere.
Dog friendly. Maybe too friendly… my dog now drags me in there for bacon every time we’re nearby ;-)
As the home of Liverpool supporters club in Seattle, this location has always been a great community with phenomenal support.
Outside of always playing the Liverpool matches, they are also open to playing any sport or league I am interested in (only spot I've found to play Liga MX!) and I always look forward to talking with the staff here. They are so friendly and foster a really wonderful community here. This is hands down my favorite sports bar around.
On the food front, I'm super picky about fries, but this place has amazing fries with great sauces to choose from. Also they have malort, which everyone should drink more of.
Great for Liverpool fans.
I had a coffee here that was surprisingly good!
Awful experience to watch a much anticipated game with my fellow Reds that resulted in abandoning the bar and just watching the game at home.
Here’s the details:
I went to Saint Andrew’s bar to watch a big game that was supposed to start at 8:30, Sunday. I was the first to arrive at around 7:30 am to make sure I have a table for myself and two other friends who’d join later. I was first asked if I was a Liverpool fan club member (which I’m not) and then I was told by the same marshal (who showed up 7:45ish) to wait on the non LFC line to wait to be admitted. The LFC official facebook page states the bar will open 30 minutes before the game. As I was waiting, more folks start arriving and building both lines, but here’s the many downfalls to their guidance:
few groups (at least a total of 10) have arrived and were told to wait on the members line even if they’re NOT registered members and just because they knew the marshal or knew a member. At some point, a group of 4 were told by the marshal to wait at the members line just because their uncle is someone they knew (not even sure if he’s a member or not).
They didn’t open the bar until 8:15, meanwhile the members lines kept growing and more people arrived with higher, fake, priority ahead of me. Actually if the place has opened by 8, I’d have still gotten a table and enjoy the game!
When the doors opened, all the good spots were taken and I couldn’t even get a table for 3, even though I was the first who showed up for the game. I got 3 spots by the bar, and I was questioned multiple times to spare them to other people since my friends couldn’t join on time.
My callout here is that
1- why’d a bar/fan club need a membership to enter a bar on a Sunday morning - even night clubs don’t do that unless you book or pay for a table. Bars/ restaurants should either follow table booking approach or follow a walk-in/first come basis. This totally felt like a cult from the early 1900s! It’s just a soccer match for fans who’re passionate about watching the beautiful game.
2- if the above doesn’t make sense and the fan club founders want to start this, then they should respect their rules and open the door on time to keep it fair.
Saint Andrew’s has been become one of my favorite spots in the city given its passion to Liverpool FC, its vibe, and the fact they allow pets. Not anymore! They certainly ruined that to me and proved to me that we’ll always complicate things for a soccer culture and we’ll never have a decent one. Bummer!
This place was amazing! Went for the Liverpool v Man Utd game and the atmosphere was brilliant! Everyone is so friendly and the staff was super accommodating and kind!
