Please note that the 40th floor Starbucks is PERMANENTLY CLOSED and this review is for the 1st floor location. Visited on a quiet Friday and enjoyed the vibe. In the building lobby and not a ton of seating, but spacious standing area if there is a long line. Friendly baristas and typical Starbucks quality drinks. Was disappointed to come to Columbia Center and discover the 40th floor location was a pandemic casualty, but I should have read the other reviews!

Came in as they opened the morning after the Beyonce concert as I had an early train to catch. All the staff greated me warmly and got my order to me very fast, I was able to spend to next hour unthawing from the nights chill unbothered by the staff.

There is not an Starbucks here (40th floor). They closed it after covid, and neves update the info, cuz Starbucks website still shows it. There is an starbucks in the -1 floor ? nothing special. Don't go here!

A very long walk up a very steep hill found an efficient, friendly, and helpful staff.Parking: Parking is a luxury in the emerald city and if you do find it, the max meter time is 2 hrs and not cheap. Parking structures are abundant but expensive. Yellow cab is an economical way to avoid traffic and parking.

Awful service just awful. I was there June 18th 2023. I ordered a breakfast wrap, they don’t have it; I then ordered a different sandwich they don’t have either. I paid with my digital giftcard, it was the first time I used digital giftcard, so I asked what to do with the balance, i wanted to know how I can use the balance next time in Starbucks store. To my shock, the lady who works here told me “I don’t know”. As a customer I felt helpless at this point. This store not only don’t have the product they put on display but also lack of basic service capabilities. I asked the lady “you work at Starbucks if you don’t know what am I supposed to do?” To my shock again this lady told me “ you can go”. I had to call for the manager, the manager helped me solved the giftcard problem but this whole time there is no “sorry”. As a customer I think I deserve a sorry for being treated this way. Not to mention this store has a 20 people waiting line at the time, it took me 40 minutes to order a drink, had to dealt with all this rudeness customer service, and didn’t get the food I wanted. I can not think of this can get any worse, it is definitely the worst Starbucks I have been to.

June 18, 2023 Line all the way to the door, one cashier. Waiting for 10 min.. suddenly cashier let the security guard cut in line. I told the manager. Nothing happen. Starbucks is going down is becoming awful every year!!!! I rate my visit here ??????

Person at the register was nice, however, I asked for a little extra milk in my coffee and barista had an attitude and spilled milk all over the counter. If you don’t like your job, find another one honey.
Went to 40th floor of the Columbia Center today. No Starbucks. I was told by the elevator engineer that it closed down during Covid and didn't reopen. So don't waste your time going!

I was not aware of the move and was disappointed. The tea was okay and the worker was not friendly. It's fine if your in the area but don't go out of your way for it.

I love this little area. It's the perfect place to go sit if you are running around by the courthouse. It's has a nice big lounging area. Great place to take a break.Kid-friendliness: They have cute little snacks that are for the kids.
