Ordered from the mobile app. Pretty simple order of just a short drip coffee. Waited until the Ready Time but still didn’t get my order. Went to the employee at the register but he was chatting it up with a Red Bull representative, talking about his college days and other things. Saw me standing there waiting to ask him about my order but he just continued on with his conversation. It wasn’t until a different employee came over did he acknowledge me and asked me if I needed help or anything. Clearly frustrated. I asked about my order and when I showed him the receipt (on my phone) the employee then turned around to grab a short cup and then put it down, turned to look at the sticker machine and then told me mine is coming up next.

Clean, cozy Starbucks close to UW right in the heart of the U District. Can get a little crowded with college students, but the staff get your order out quick and there are plenty of places to sit inside, or nearby outside.

I went to this Starbucks on Monday and had a pretty good experience overall. The atmosphere in the store is nice—not too noisy—so it's perfect whether you want to sit back and enjoy a coffee slowly or handle some things temporarily. What's great is there are plenty of seats, so you never have to worry about not finding a spot—that's a big plus.
Surprisingly, the restrooms are really clean, no bad odors at all, and they're well-maintained. That definitely deserves a shout-out. However, compared to the Starbucks in Edmonds, the coffee here is a bit more expensive. It would be even better if there were some promotions in the future. All in all, it's worth coming back!

Great place to sit with a laptop, enjoy a coffee, or grab a bite. The staff are always friendly and smiling. There’s plenty of space for everyone. Highly recommend!

I don’t usually post reviews, but I was astounded by the way the manager here was treating her workers. I overheard employees talking about finding a white powdery substance (presumably an illicit drug) in the bathrooms and she was instructing them to clean it themselves rather than call in people equipped to deal with potential hazards. I’ve worked in food service for years, and I know how inconvenient it can be to call in outside help, but this just shocked me with how blatantly unsafe it was for workers without PPE. I don’t know the proper channels to report this manager to the company, but I’ll probably be seeking that out as soon as I’m done posting this.

I dined in early this morning I I had a strawberry lemonade refresher and a Swiss and ham croissant while I was sitting there I was harassed by a homeless person the pink hat I told her numerous times to leave me alone while I'm just trying to eat peacefully by myself last time I was there with my husband there was a security guard there by the door this morning that place was swamped with homeless people inside highly not safe there needs to be a security guard there 24/7 I thought the rule was that they weren't going to let homeless people in there or people they're going to allow people in there that can buy stuff and not allowed to hang out? Hopefully they can get a security guard in there

My husband used to work at the Starbucks as a supervisor for 5years before so that he knows how to manage everything properly. He got a normal hot coffee and I got a white chocolate mocha right now. As soon as he tasted the coffee, he recognized how bad they take care of the coffee. The coffee tastes burnt. Even I could taste it in my white mocha. I’m pretty picky about coffee and I often get white chocolate mocha however this one doesn’t taste right. We noticed that some people who work here are students. I hope whoever works here read my review and manage their coffee and machine better and it’s supposed to be. Thank you.

I wasn't permitted to use the restroom after buying a coffee. I was pleading with the manager and he accused me of being hostile even though I said nothing offensive. It was an emergency and it was taken the wrong way. I'm in no way a druggy or homeless and I don't care who you are if your a paying customer. I even tipped, tf.
Love the honey citrus mint tea. We had Dan taking our orders today. Very pleasant and willing to help. Enjoying our visit.

I've only been homeless a little while and never considered how much i would count on starbucks as a resource, but to be more accurate starbucks employees would be... for being one of the toughest locations for dealing with the most difficult of us this store deserves a award for the community of trust they've built with us and their steadfast commitment to treating anyone who walks in like a human being. The new policy had Me shook, but it's clear this location among a few others in as seattle embody the ballance i think corporate in a perfect world would have liked to see this policy produce. In general I believe it will hurt the bottom line long term and send a message that these very basic and not special houses are somehow still a status symbol and want to preserve a air of superiority. Not if seattle employees have anything to say about it. Keep it up guys, we see you and appreciate you in a world where everywhere but a starbucks lobby you are taking up space and barely acknowledged ❤️ EDIT: everyone at this store is stellar EXCEPT the day time security dude with the accent, this clown doesn't represent starbucks and is actively targeting the homeless population, taking pictures of women just looking through her bag on the opposite side of the street, any time any new homeless person walks up he logs it in a little book... curious because these people literallt can't

Anyways coffee pretty alright ya know, it’s a Starbucks but it seems to be doing alright (though imagine how much more alright it’d be if its workers were compensated with a livable wage, and had a employer who would sign a fair contract). 3003 stars for the Starbucks workers, -3000 stars for Starbucks corporation and CEO Brian Niccol’s $113 million compensation package = 3 stars :)
