When Starbucks’ own website says it’s allowed but the manager says it’s “impossible,” you know something’s off.

This has always been my favorite Starbucks , excellent drinks, friendly team, and they usually know my order. But on August 9th, 2025 at 9:00 a.m., I ordered my usual venti iced matcha latte with lavender foam, no ice, and asked for it in a Trenta cup for extra room.

Starbucks’ own site clearly lists Trenta as available for eligible cold beverages, and an iced matcha latte is exactly that ,a cold, non-espresso drink that may be mixed for consistency but is not a “blended beverage” under Starbucks’ size restrictions (which apply to frozen, Frappuccino-style drinks). My request was fully policy-compliant.

I explained this to the store manager, Kevin, and pointed out that honoring it would also align with Starbucks’ sustainability mission , avoiding waste and making thoughtful choices for our planet. Other stores have always understood this. Instead, my request was refused, and I was offered an empty Trenta cup, which wastes more resources than simply serving the drink in it.

I’m deducting two stars: one for incorrect policy knowledge/training, and one for poor customer service. A small, thoughtful “yes” here could have upheld policy, supported sustainability, and kept this a 5-star experience.

I ordered the spicy falafel pocket and they accidentally made me the feta wrap, which is fine. But when I mentioned it, the girl was rude about it. I even apologized because I hate speaking up about these things but she gave me attitude the whole time. At one point she asked me if I have anyone I can give it to, and I didn’t fully hear her question so I didn’t answer right away, and so she repeated the question louder and slower… I was like jeez, why you gotta be rude about it? It’s your mistake and I’m being nice. Anyway the girl who took my order was really sweet.

I ordered a tall drip cup of coffee with hazelnut and cream through the drive-through. The female that took the order repeated the order to me and it was correct. I drove to the window and a male charged me four dollars and some change for the tall drip cup of coffee with hazelnut and cream. I heard the mail Employee tell a female employee tall drip of coffee with hazelnut and cream when I receive the coffee, it was extremely hot so I couldn’t taste it, when I was finally able to taste the coffee. There was a splash of cream if any an absolutely no hazelnut. The order was repeated multiple times and was still not served correctly so for Customer Service I give a zero the order was so simple.

No matter what.
You get the drink, is trash?It tastes burnt if it's coffee.It is sweet and wrong if it isn't. And don't think you're going to get any help as adored as you're here especially not if your female because it's the males who are assumed to be the door dashers So if you're a female, you just get ignored.Because they assume you have a mobile order that you want done sooner.But they won't talk to you to ask you what you're there for to make sure

Kloie was sweet, it was early morning and made a foolish mistake of pushing my laptop that made my passion tea fell off. I felt bad but they were nice about it, told me to not worry about cleaning it up and even gave me a replacement without me asking. They were a tight crew like a machine, and if you cant find the outlets, its under the sofa <3

I wasn’t aware there was a pick up rule but I’ve always gone through the drive thru to the window to pick up my order ..not to be stopped by a rude server just to say all I can’t pick my order up that way??
