There was supposed to be live music on Friday nights and I booked a reservation specifically for that reason. There was no live music and when I asked I was told that there usually is but just not on that particular Friday. I didn't see this noted anywhere, there was no calendar or schedule to check. I would have rescheduled had I known. Otherwise the restaurant was quiet, the food was good.

Stella is great for outdoor seating, also love their interiors inside. Good service and food.
Not bad option for dining and people watching since it’s connected to Hotel Sorrento with valet in front.

They tried hard but the kitchen was way behind and the poor bartender had to keep coming out to apologize for being out of things people were ordering. Food was ok but more about presentation than flavor.

Absolutely stunning and cozy ambiance. Couldn't have felt more welcomed or taken care of. Exceptional in every way! The fireside room and food prepared with such care will be remembered forever.

I started with a salad, which was fine. I would have preferred my drink first, not 10 mins after the salad. For the main I ordered the pasta dish. The pasta was overcooked to the point of being almost mush. The sauce was incredibly bland and tasteless.

Wild boar papardelle was just want I wanted. Outstanding. Our waiter, Alexander, was attentive and friendly.

Our waiter, Hoony, was excellent - attentive and efficient. The brunch menu is creative and well prepared from scratch. We frequent Stella because of the ambience and historic character. Always well cared for with respect to housekeeping and decor. The staff is always eager to please.

New chef, atmosphere and stellar service makes you cry for Stella from the Street of Seattle. With 3 drinks and a tip, bill was $160 for two. We left full, satisfied and surprised. Locals, show proof of being in the area and you get a discount.

We ate:
- Bresaola - awesome quality and presentation
- Mussels - very good, not perfect, bit over done.
- Beat salad - delicious but smaller than expected
- Pork chop - AMAZING!!!! Best I've had in Seattle.

We had a wonderful dining experience at STELLA in Hotel Sorrento. The food was excellent, flavorful, and well presented. The service was attentive and gracious, making us feel truly welcomed. The coffee was rich and smooth, a perfect finish to the meal.

The restaurant has a calm and romantic atmosphere, with a seating layout that allows for both comfort and privacy. It is an ideal place for a relaxed meal or a special occasion. Valet parking is also conveniently available for $10.

Highly recommended!

The Stella in Seattle's iconic hotel is the perfect place for an intimate dining experience with top-notch menu choices. I had the steak in brandy-pepper sauce with broccolini and finger potatoes. The steak was cooked perfectly and the sauce very, very good. I also recommend having their Cesare salad. A really nice take on the traditional Caesar salad, exceptionally yummy. A drink before dinner in the Fireside Room is a must on a cold-rainy Seattle day/evening. You can even order from the Stella menu and dine next to the fireplace. The entire staff from Valet entrance to exit are all incredibly accommodating at this establishment.

Ordered the shrimp pasta from SRW menu - nice potion and tasty. For dessert, got the tiramisu- nicely balanced flavors and large portion. Only ate half. Servers were attentive and room has dark wood interiors. Table settings were tasteful. Only $5 valet. I recommend this place.

I took a friend to lunch for her birthday at Stella and had a wonderful time! The service was really fantastic, the ambiance was perfect, and the food was delicious. Everything about our time at Stella was welcoming and comfortable. Thank you for making my friend's birthday lunch special!

There was no service staff to greet us. We walked into the bar area and a waiting staff came up to us and pointed to a table. Then the waiter came to our table with a pitcher of water and poured the water into our glasses with half spilling on the table, ice cubes on the table and just walked away! It was shocking! Not even the courtesy to apologize or wipe the spills. Then he brings 3 menus for 4 of us!! Seriously?! Then he comes back with a bar menu and some other small leaflet. By this time his behavior was bothering us too much. The smell of alcohol was very much prominent from him and his behavior was very bad. Lots of abnormal movements and waving menus in the air! At this point my friend asked him to take a breath and asked him if there was a problem. He said he was one staff serving many tables. But it was obvious that the behavior was not normal. It took forever for him to come back and take the order. After dinner he mellowed down and went on another extreme of trying to be kind and brought a complimentary dessert to share and gave my friend complimentary tea. It was not great to have such unpleasant behavior. This happened at 7:15pm on 1st November 2025.

Had breakfast here: not recommended, food and quality wasn't at the same level as the expected. Mocha came with a bad taste and the food wasn't worth it.
