I am staying briefly in Seattle across from this Storyville location. I found the coffee in my hotel undrinkable. I explained this to an employee at Storyville who helped me select my beverage and did not charge me. Incredible customer service and I will continue to patronize them throughout my stay.

Staff was nice, but the coffee was just not there. I received an $8 cup of milk. If you are after a solid Seattle coffee, I’d go elsewhere.

Ordered my standard oat milk latte, it was genuinely worse than my first attempt when i started making espresso at home. The milk was underheated and the coffee tasted of nothing, it was more of a cup of warm oat milk than anything. The atmosphere was nice and the apple pie was decent enough to not complain about.Im often a generous reviewer, and feel i am here too. Maybe they just had an off day, but with the local coffee shops being such great quality its hard to give benefit of not knowing.I would not choose this cafe if you are someone with an interest in good coffee.

Very good service, and nice, quiet vibe. Coffee is very smooth, so if that’s your vibe you will really like it. Personally I’m into more bold flavors, but it’s all preference! Would go back for the warm smiles alone.

The coffee wasn't freshly brewed and was a rather mild "espresso". The milk was watery and the baristas didnt know what they were doing. They had to remake my husband's cappuccino and it still lacked coffee whatsoever. We paid $15 for a latte and cappuccino which was a sheer rip off for the absolutely poor quality and taste. There was no "barista effect" to the coffee and we surely felt robbed.

Very comfy place in the middle of downtown to stop for a coffee! Immaculate vibe, and Celeste and Azlin were so nice!! There's a promotion right now for first time customers to sign up and get a free mug so go while it's available.

I was very confused by my visit today. I hadn't been to storyville in about 4 years, but remembered it as having decent coffee with some care taken on steamed milk art. I ordered a latte today and it appeared to be made by some hidden machine that pumped out coffee-like liquid automatically without any crema. Nothing about this resembled espresso preparation. No visible beans, no grinding, no puck preparation. Is this pod coffee? The shot of that liquid was put into a larger vessel and mixed with something??? Not sure what that step was. It was then combined with poorly steamed milk poured with no attempt at art. That was $7 without tip! I don't know what happened here. The drink just tasted of milk without a hint of coffee.

Beautiful space. Decent coffee. But prices are absurd ($10 for a late; $8 for a flat white)! Almost $20 for two coffees!Aside: ordering process super unintuitive and they had to explain to everyone. Stood there for quite a while before being acknowledged.

I so very much enjoyed my time here. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcome. I told them it is the coffee house equivalent of a speak easy. I judge a coffee shop by their Americano and they passed the test! I tried another drink - Coco mocha and it was even better. I also got my drink free since I bought coffee beans. Me and the kitty in the window across the street enjoyed a relaxing morning. Perfect way to end my Seattle trip.

Their homemade coconut milk is absolutely delicious in a latte. The Americano was okay. Definitely worth checking out and experiencing.
