I want to give this place 5 stars so bad if only for the food it would be 5 without a doubt. However, the entrance leaves A LOT to be desired, additionally, there are two single bathrooms but the two times I've been here, something is missing, this time it was paper towels. The waitress pouring my sons sparkling wine, noticed that the glass was dirty (as were my husband and Is glasses) after she had poured the drink and rightfully so took the glass away and brought a new one but didn't not replace the drink. To top it off, they don't validate parking... $400+ meal and no validation for the garage just seems ridiculous to me. First world problems but also why I can't give more than 3 stars!

This was one of the most fun experiences I've had in a while. Chef Joni was our primary chef, everything we had was excellent. My party went here as a pre show dinner, and truthfully nothing could have been better. All of the chefs were very attentive, and the soft shell crab hand roll I got absolutely changed my life. I'm already thinking about going back as soon as I can!

Every hand roll was Amazingly delicious! The soft shell crab was probably my favorite, closely followed by the truffle avocado roll. And chef Joni was phenomenal!

My friends and I came to this hand roll place during lunch on a Friday. We got seated right away, and the service was excellent. The restaurant was very clean. Restroom was easily accessible, fully stocked, and clean. Shout out to chef Jino, great personality! The food was also very good and fairly priced.

After walking all over Seattle to find a sushi place, my grandson and I stopped here. They did warn us they offer Hand Roll only. The food was delicious and the sushi chef was very attentive and even was offering suggestion. I won't deduct stars for my experience but do want to share that everywhere in AZ I have had a hand roll it was either the size at an all you can eat sushi buffet or was actually a traditional size roll. So when you arrive and they warn you, keep note this is not a standard large size. I wish my budget would have allowed me to try more (we ordered the 6 roll variety), but at least we received the experience!! What I did also really like of this place is it is off the tourist path. Thus seating was quick and easy and in a way cozy! I would definitely recommend for someone seeking a TRUE hand roll sushi place!

So fresh and delicious!! We did the 6 roll sets each and enjoyed every roll. The spicy tuna with pickled radish and the hamachi (yellowtail) were our favorites. The yellowtail had so much fish in it and was topped with freshly zested lime. Truly magical

Friendly greeting walking in for our reservation. They were also able to take us a bit earlier.the vibe was relaxed with good music. The customer service was attentive through our dinner. The hand rolls were delicious & fresh. The only negative was they ran out of the passion fruit crème brûlée. Definitely recommend stopping by for a great meal.

Dinning atmosphere was great however the sushi was messy to eat. It was rolled up like a burrito/taco and often fell apart. The flavor was unique but didn’t have a wow factor. The Calamari and the tartar sauce that came with it was delicious!

We went for the omakase meal and it was so delicious and unique in terms of flavor pairings with the fish. We loved each course and will return again.

My husband and I went here before a show at the Moore. It was easy to get a reservation and we really enjoyed our experience! You are seated at the sushi bar and see them making all the rolls. The drinks were good, and the food was delicious! We both got the 4 roll option and loved every one. Would definitely go back as a date night. Because you are sitting at the bar, I think its probably best for parties of 1-3.

I’m from LA and my go-to spot is KazuNori—but Sugo can rival it in almost every way. Yana and Kit were wonderful today; their service was incredible and they were genuinely kind.

And the happy hour? No joke. They’ve got $4 hand rolls that really go far. I came after teaching at 2 PM when it was quiet, and I definitely didn’t leave hungry.

I strongly recommend the Imura, King Salmon, and Oreo hand rolls. They’re worth every penny. And don’t forget to add some sake while you’re there.

Enjoy! 🍣✨

Food was good, fish tasted fresh.

The issue was the service. Had a reservation for 8 pm, got there 5 min before but still had to wait 15 min to sit. Then, once we sat, the server never took our orders. I had to get up and flag her down to take my order, because she was in the other room and totally forgot about us. It took over 30 min to put our order in.

They didn’t even offer to comp my soda or anything. Just the bill and a tip of course.

If a customer needs to wait over half an hour and also flag a server down, then you have serious customer service issues.
