We popped by on a Sunday afternoon and had a lovely little lunch! The Detroit square pizza was so toasty, cheesey and had the perfect pepperonis on top. The only thing that topped it was the friendly and attentive service. I can't wait for summer so we can drink spritzes on their patio!

Listen, the food here is amazing, but the service is something that could be worked on. Our server never checked on us after our food arrived. She walked up, looked at our table saw our drinks were empty, scoffed and walked away. She then came back to the table while we were still eating and asked if we wanted our check. She was not pleasant and a little more courtesy would go a long way.

I randomly stumbled upon this place while looking for pizza in google maps. Today, we decided to get our dinner here.What we ordered - Large marge, Grape shrub, Chicory saladWhat we think - The salad was amazing and fresh. The shrub was delightful - a little tart coupled with fizz. The pie was delicious. The charred onions were sweet and smoky at the same time. The crust of the pizza was perfect. This is definitely one of the best finds for me this year.

First off the pizza tasted pretty good, but I think this place is missing a few things that keep it from being great. At this price point these shouldn’t be issues and could be solved by an owner/manager eating in their own restaurant.The temperature of the pizza was a problem. Considering we sat less than 20’ from the oven it should have been hot when it got to the table. The first piece was warm but not hot. Biting into the second piece it almost felt like it was cool from the inside. As if the pizza is premade and finished before serving. That’s fine, but something needs to be adjusted in either the time or temperature. By the third piece it was really noticeable. Should be easy to correct or a small mistake.The place was cold. Several people wore jackets throughout the meal. (This might be why it took a slice or two to figure out it was the inside of the pizza that was the problem.)Also, Why the tiny stools and glasses? Seems like a poor choice.
