I will definitely be returning! I’ve found a new spot for tibs. I ordered lamb tibs to go. The staff were very friendly. The lamb was the most tender and flavorful I’ve ever had at any restaurant I’ve been to in the Seattle area. Also, the portion was the most I’ve ever had at ANY Ethiopian restaurant I’ve visited. Especially for takeout. Hands down! For once I feel like I got what I paid for.
Only one thing I’d suggest them to do, and that’s decorate the place so it looks more warm and “home-ier” like most Ethiopian restaurants I’ve been to. Other than that small thing, I have no complaints, and the tender & flavorful food, large portions, and warm & friendly service WAY OUTWEIGH that small detail! 100% RETURNING.

We were at Kubota Garden and wanted to go out to dinner nearby, and my husband found this restaurant on Google. We are so happy to have stumbled upon it. We shared the Veggie Combo and had a glass of honey wine each and both left full and satisfied. The spices and selection of the combo are divine, and so reasonably priced; I will be dreaming about the flavors for a while ?. I highly recommend this mellow & slow-paced with friendly service establishment for delicious Ethiopian food.
Parking: Parking is available on the neighborhood streets surrounding the restaurant. There's a small lot adjacent to the restaurant, but you'd have to back out onto busy Rainier Ave when you're leaving, so I would not recommend it.

Phenomenal Ethiopian and Eritrean food! The sunset combo was such a great size, especially for the price, and really came with an excellent variety of flavorful toppings- we especially loved the cabbage, beef tibs and super spongy injera, which we ordered extra of, but everything was devoured. Filled with locals and fun music videos playing to watch while you wait for your food. The staff were also so friendly! Next time would love to try their big Eritrean breakfast menu, and their jebena specialty coffee :) great place to stop on your way to or from seatac airport!
