Good service, but very mediocre sushi for the price. It was regarded to me as the best sushi spot in Seattle. It's not authentic at all.
This was a high end experience with a focus food quality. There was great service from the staff from check in to the end of service, but the standouts that represent a high quality experience was centered on sushi. Omakase was the right move as it included a range of local delicacies like geoduck, as well as imported varieties like New Zealand sockeye salmon. There was effort put into matching flavors other than fish and rice dipped into a soy-wasabi mix. The fermented wasabi stem sauce was a pleasant highlight on the pieces of nigiri that came dressed with it. I have no doubt that what we consumed over the course of dinner represented many hours of skilled preparation behind the scenes. The perfect rice texture, for example, does not taste like it came out of a rice cooker. If you have the opportunity to visit, I would highly recommend it.
We had an amazing overall experience. The price was on the higher end, but it was worth the money. The enjoyed every dish we ordered, especially the miso black cod. My husband and I will definitely be back. The staff were all wonderful!
Went for a special birthday celebration, it did not disappoint. Highly recommend sitting at the sushi bar.
The best sushi I've ever had! “The peak” chefs tasting menu was incredible. I am still thinking about the shrimp head! Service was excellent.. 5 stars.
Brandon , our server, was top notch ! He's one of the best waiters we've ever had. Very knowledgeable, excellent service and highly professional. We really enjoy dining here when in the area.
Very traditional and therefore unlike any Japanese restaurant we have ever been to. The ambience and service were excellent. The food was very good, but not exceptional. However, everything is way over priced, and there is a nagging feeling that one is being nickel-and-dimed for every little thing. While the seemingly mandatory 20% service charge is no different in amount than a tip, OpenTable and the restaurant website should provide this info upfront. Also, and this is more of a personal grievance, I do not like being taxed on what should be a gratuity. And if the surcharge is not actually gratuitous, then just increase the cost of the food.
Food was elegant, service was fantastic. I don't leave reviews anywhere, so the fact that I am leaving this one says a lot
Freshest sushi I've ever had. Beautiful presentation, service, and ambiance. I highly recommend.
What an experience it was dining here! We did the omakase experience and it was absolutely fantastic and worth every penny. As someone who is normally picky about sushi, especially more fishy kinds like tuna and mackerel, I can say every single piece was so delicious. I truly cannot pick a favorite. Our sushi chef was so accommodating and made this a wonderful experience for us, and the service was fantastic all around. So much attention to detail. A 12/10 experience- would absolutely recommend and I would absolutely come back.

Absolutely brilliant, sublime omakase chef counter experience with the master. One of the best meals I've ever had.
Absolutely nothing bad to say. All the dishes were superb. Me and my partner had an amazing date night together here. We got the Omakase and it was perfect. I’m a body builder so I was anticipating it being a light dinner but I was actually full when I left. I think it ended up costing 400/450ish after everything was said and done. So definitely a nice date evening for two. Highly recommend.

We had a phenomenal dinner as always. Our guests were thrilled with the experience. We have decided that we must return in approximately a month.
Food was good. But it was not exactly worth the price point.
They offered a sake (when asked for recco) which I did not like and promptly explained. But they charged for it anyway.
For a fine dining establishment with a 20% surcharge, $200/person bill that I paid, it’s odd to do that for a $12 drink. Especially on a celebration dinner
the standout thing about this place, i'd say is the attention to detail. my wife has a preference for no wasabi, and the table next to us had a couple celebrating their anniversary - and only one of them drank. these preferences were only stated once and throughout the entire experience they were respectfully abided by. if you come here, you can expect that you won't have to repeat yourself.
this is Fine dining. you'll be led along multiple courses by a waiter who relays the chef's suggestions and expertise. it's less like just eating and more like meeting an artist with display pieces they want you to eat. it's poetry you put in your stomach. there's structure here. come in humble and the chef will show you the light.
or you can come in here to discuss business and completely ignore the food and atmosphere while talking about markets and projections and great forecasting tools like a bunch of loud dorks a few tables away. waste thousands of dollars to reduce this passion and craft into an impressive client interview, i guess. had me seething the entire time. god forbid any of these delusional suits think about anything other than business for one hour. actually pathetic. please, for the love of everything worth living for, if you come here, put the phone down, forget about your KPI's or whatever the hot new buzzword is and please, shut up and enjoy the food. the business can wait. it breaks my heart to think someone ate the culmination of a chef's lifetime of masterful skill and heartfelt love without tasting any of it just so they can talk metrics.
yeah, come in humble and let the chef show you the light. it's not in any company handbook or Forbes article, it's on the plate they put in front of you.
